Topic has been updated to reflect the fact that S2 is ongoing. Original OP post under spoiler here:AniDB wrote:The story takes place on the grounds of St. Mihailov Academy, a Japanese Eastern orthodox school, and draws heavily on religious references from the aforementioned religion. Here it follows the trials and hardship of two of its students, Oribe Mafuyu and Yamanobe Tomo, until the encounter with a mysterious, silver-haired, Russian boy named Alexander, or Sasha for short. This pits them and the whole school in an all-out war between the Church itself and the so-called Adepts, a sect of individuals wielding powers linked to the elements of chemistry.

Re: Seikon no Qwaser (new show)
...wha?
Isn't he a bit too old to be breastfed?
This show would be very useful for a fanservice themed amv
Not that im planning anything though..

Re: Seikon no Qwaser (new show)
This show isn't worth checking until the BDs get out, trust me. Even the director's cut streaming seemingly has a few censores left.
The manga is quite awesome and it is one of the very few fanservice anime that is able to actually have a very interesting story in there and not just fanservice for the sake of it in a random school setting or w/e. At least here the fanservice is mostly able to serve a key point of the story - well, at least some of it... some scenes are just fanservice without excuse. Although then there's the question if fanservice does need an excuses in a show like this...

We were talking about this show in this thread, mostly because this show has such low value as a real show that it is the equivalent of a porn, and no one would watch it without the taytays.

Re: Seikon no Qwaser
qft, that said it's rather refreshing to see a series where the guy can grab a girls mamories, comment that they are "good" or "boring" and then walk away normally, where in most series (lady vrs butlers for example) the guy usually gets beaten to a pulp after accidentally grabbing them. that and the fact that they somehow made breastfeeding part of the story and not just random tityshots as in most series (ladies vrs butlers for example again lol).Ishbalan wrote:We were talking about this show in this thread, mostly because this show has such low value as a real show that it is the equivalent of a porn, and no one would watch it without the taytays.
series is ok, nothing special, but i'll only watch the directors cut, if there is any censoring in it, it's not nearly as noticeable as the regular release. after i watch the series i'll read the manga to see how badly the anime mangled the original story. i tend to like watching anime first as the manga is almost always better.
update: ooook, just sorta skimmed through ep 4, i can see where the director's cut may have left some stuff out, the soft core porn scenes are more creepy than arousing imo.

Seen up to 05 now.
Frankly I found the lesbian loli content a bit bothersome.
The plot does exist, people ARE actually being defeated, but the fights are looking too rushed and too ho hum.
The show is looking like it has no real magical quality that is going to make it rewatchable.
I'm starting to think loli nudity is the replacement for moe. I don't see that being something I will be cheering.

What's with all the Russian in this?
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
