Does anyone know if this image is from a anime? I keep finding this image online, but I'm not completely sure if this is a character from a particular anime or if its just a generic anime girl. A friend of mine wants to cosplay as her, so if it is just a generic anime girl, does anyone have any image of a anime character that has a outfit similar to this one?

Danbooru doesn't say it's from anything in particular, so I assume it's original.

I don't see any particular reason why someone couldn't cosplay as some artist's original character though.

yeah, you're definitely right. We were trying to find out if this was a particular anime character in order to buy the costume as a set. But we definitely could just shop around and get everything individually.

The girl looks like an original make-up of Rin Tohsaka from 'Fate/Stay Night'. Those clothes you should be able to buy from maybe novelty shops as I have seen lots of gothic/emo people at my school wearing parts of those clothing.

Nah, she's just a Suzuhira Hiro original character design.

Incidentally, the original (warning:HUGE) has a different hair color. The black hair is an edit.
