usually i keep a black background... but i made one for my laptop for this post.... i dun have my other 2 comps with me to screen shot, but their basically the same...

No, it's user error and a case of fingeritis. Your codes were all messed up. The "Preview" button is your friend. So are the buttons at the top of the "Post a Reply" screen and the BBCode link in the bottom left in the options section of the same "Post a Reply" screen. But very nice desktop, btw.
