It is called "Densha Otoko" or Train Man. I believe it was a novel, turned into a movie and now a TV series. I found these screen caps on a newsgroup.

The best part is how Tohru and Rabbit's expresions don't change through the entire thing. Tohru's in shock the whole time, and Rabbit doesn't get it.
