The rules are pretty much the same as the other threads, but I will quote (and slightly alter) the screencap thread rules here:
Additional Rules:Eryops wrote:Here are the rules (adapted from the Anime Trivia thread):
- You must post a screenshot from an anime rather than art depicting a single character - just a face shot is fine.
You must correctly identify the character and anime in order to post a new one.
If you are 100% certain that your answer is correct, you can post a new character right away instead of waiting for confirmation.
After at least two days of no new screenshots or answers, anyone can restart the thread by post a new screenshot. There is no such thing, then, as necroposting on this thread.
A particularly tough, unrecognizable character is taken back in favor of an easier one once ten wrong answers have been received.
If for some reason someone doesn't want to post a new character, they can pass it off to whoever they want to.
Characters that are not correctly identified within 24 hours of their posting are replaced by the person who posted them.
If three or more different people have guessed incorrectly, the original poster must supply a hint or additional screencap from the same series to keep this thread moving along. (The same three people can trigger extra hints and screencap postings per new hint/screencap).
- The character must have a name, and their appearance must be somewhat significant in the originating anime.
If you can give a character's full name, that is preferred, but not necessary. For example, "Himura Kenshin" would be just as correct as "Kenshin".
You cannot simply state the role the character had in the anime, (i.e. so-and-so's little brother, the fortune teller, etc.) - you must post the name of the character and anime correctly in order to post another.
Please do not use fanart - use screencaps or official artwork only.
One character per post.
I hope that's thorough enough. Here's the first character I'll start with:
Have fun
