HOLY CRAP!!!
I completely forgot about AMV hell 4....
I was supposed to do stuff...
I got to stop reading threads while completely drunk.
In the case for the theme song I do have something I am actually working on. I'll send it to Zarxrax... provided I complete it on time...
was gonna be its own vid, but if I get it done it'll truly be awesome as an opening to AMV Hell 4. ...or maybe just a skit... either way I just hope I finish it on time.
I'll send you a PM on the details Zarxrax.

Okay, I had a couple of random questions:ssgwnbtd wrote:I'm going to start posting more since I'm bored. Ask me anything about the project.
1) When we're crediting the anime that we used, do we use the Japanese title or the English one if it applies? For instance: Sunabouzu or Desert Punk?
2) Roughly how long is this project estimated on being? AMV HELL 3 maxed out at around 68 Minutes I believe, so are we looking at beating the quota, or is it just "Fit everything in that doesn't suck"?
3) If, perchance (and I'm not saying that it's happened yet, just worried), you show your entry to a friend, and they then submit the exact same thing before you, can we make a case about it, or does justice not apply?
4) The crediting system says "Artist - Song", but what if the song has no credited artist, or there is no song title? Do we just skip that part?
5) I'm assuming people who watch AMV HELL watch a lot of anime. So, when we're making a submission, do we have to keep the joke obvious, or can it be something that will seem much funnier if you understand the show's plot?

SSGWNBTD, I'm in your thread, stealing your answers :p
If there is an english title, go with that.LC_Lapen wrote: 1) When we're crediting the anime that we used, do we use the Japanese title or the English one if it applies? For instance: Sunabouzu or Desert Punk?
Still not sure about the length. We will put in as many videos that we think are really funny. It will probably be at least 30 minutes, but shorter than amv hell 3.LC_Lapen wrote: 2) Roughly how long is this project estimated on being? That would be pretty lame of them... but if you have some kind of proof or anything, bring it to our attention.LC_Lapen wrote: 3) If, perchance (and I'm not saying that it's happened yet, just worried), you show your entry to a friend, and they then submit the exact same thing before you, can we make a case about it, or does justice not apply?
Try really hard to find it, but if you cant just leave it blank.LC_Lapen wrote: 4) The crediting system says "Artist - Song", but what if the song has no credited artist, or there is no song title? Do we just skip that part?
I watch all of the videos first. If the joke is not obvious to me because I have not seen the anime, then there may be a chance that I will think its crap and simply discard it. If I have reason to believe that the video isn't crap (I give you the benefit of the doubt as long as the quality and editing seems decent) then I show the video to SSGWNBTD, and get his opinion on it. If he doesn't get it either, well then I guess you're out of luck.LC_Lapen wrote: 5) I'm assuming people who watch AMV HELL watch a lot of anime. I've updated the list.

Looks like we've finally got more than 100 good entries. (and maybe about 400 bad ones)

The only flaw is that humour is subjective. Something me or other people find funny my be totally missed by you guys and vice versa. I just hope your judgement is better than it was for CE... that was a boring piece of crap.Zarxrax wrote:I watch all of the videos first.
