Well you made your point but blah i told him numerous of times not to but he doesn't care so, I guess its just best if I stop helping out.. I've done enough damage. XD.. I think if we aren't going to join then we should leave.

To the coordinator: Some of the folks posting here have valid points. If you have no experience in editing you really shouldn't be attempting to make an MEP. Why? Because putting together an MEP is a tough job incorporating a great deal of organization, time, communication skills, and editing talent.
If you DO have some experience, then you should have your videos listed here so people can gauge your talent before they choose to join. People don't want to join a project, put several hours (sometimes several hundred hours!) into editing a segment just to have the coordinator drop the ball, it's a waste of time.
If you insist on going ahead and trying anyway without experience, then you'll just have to expect some flaming and take it in stride. Ignore it, don't encourage it, and do your best to make the video as good as you can. That will be your way to show them that you were right to try. Only respond to the posts which are actually showing genuine interest in your MEP.
Last but not least, it is considered very bad form (not only in this forum, but in all forums) to post several times consecutively. Please try to limit your posts or use the edit button, as was suggested by others.

To the people posting: Yes, I see where some of you are coming from. I agree that bad MEPs are taking up space on this forum and on the .org. But editors need to learn somehow. What good will flaming this would-be coordinator do? How will it help him to become a better editor? It won't. All it will do is perpetuate the thread you seem to want so desperately to die. If you want the project to die, then stop posting in his thread.
If he has spelling errors in his post, and you feel the need to point them out, why not do so in a less derogatory manner?

I'm sure that I'll get flamed for stepping in this way, since everyone seems to be on a roll, but I figured I'd try.

thanks alot you actually helped me i know im unexperienced and ill be away from a-m-v.org for awhile now until im better i know you didnt want to get in the middle of it but hey thanks ill remember you actually helped me unlike some

We don't want you to go away from the org. Actually alot of the points are that we like people to be active members of the org. Upload their vids and be active on the forums and stuff. I personally don't like all these people comn straight from youtube without bein active or anything, then they try and get people to join a project when nobody knows shit about em. So i say stay and be active.

Yeah, like the others said
If you don't have any of your videos uploaded, its hard to get people to join projetcs.
If you go thru with it, make sure you check out some other porjects to see how they are done.
They are hard to manage at times but its fun to see when everythings all put together ^_^
Just don't change your mind and abandon your project halfway throuh it.

Personally I never seen nothing wrong with the "do what you want" type MEPs.
"Do what you want" is a theme i guess ^^;
You probably should have some other theme to it like.
Do what you action, comedy, romance ect. or meybe a certian type of music each editor must use.
It can turn out pretty cool if you don't get alot of people submiting
random crap thown together in 10 minutes or something like that =)
If you get editors actaully putting in effort and coming up with some neat ideals,
it can turn out interesting and not be another Dee Dee Dee project >_<

Hell, id probably do something for it if you actually pull it off.

You don't need to "go away from the 'org til you're better." ^^ Make a few vids, upload them, then announce them in the announcements forum and see what people think!
Everyone's first vids are pretty bad, you don't need to be ashamed if your first few aren't so hot, mine sure weren't.

If you still want to try making this MEP, feel free to PM me for advice. I haven't put together my own MEP but I'm friends with a few people who have, and I know the basics and would be more than willing to help you out.
