Anyone esle know of ways to store a 200+ MB file?
Yeah, reëncode o_O
200MB is waaaay too much for a vid that lasts 30 seconds.
If your video is larger then 30 MB, you did something wrong imho :P

Just submitted another entry last night, and another's in the process of uploading. The first was done really quickly, but came out giggle-worthy, I think. Second I worked a lot longer on, and I really, REALLY hope it goes over well. ^_^

Is anyone else using FireFTP for Firefox? So far all my uploads have been successful with that.

you can always split the 200 MB file in smaller parts with winrar.

yea i figured that much as well, but being new to encoding I just dealt with it. Which compressor are you guys using. I'm using:

Adobe Premiere 1.5
File Type: Microsoft AVI
Compressor: Huffyuv v2.1.1 - CCESP Patch v0.2.2

Wasn't it said that there will be allowed only DivX/XViD (without logo encoded) and uncompressed audio?

*readreadread*

Forget it. Huffyuv is allowed.

I would just render my project as huffy or lossless and encode it in virtualdubmod
follow the screen shots

and follow this Guide to compress your audio
I'm still trying to figure out how to do the audio myself. At the moment the audio is pcm uncompressed. Which takes up more space than the actual video x.x

OK, Update on my ideas.

The Picard Song:

I could have sworn there was a commander in Yamato/Star Blazers that was bald and looked kinda like Patrick Stewart. He's a fleet commander I think, but that may just work.

The Emo Song:
Use Ergo Proxy... closest thing to emo in anime... LOL mascera. Unless there's some anime with suicide and cutting in it.. maybe Lain?

I may be working on the fanservice one and these too... is Ergo licensed in the US yet or not?
