This is the first time I've made a video MEP, but not the first time I've made an AMV so I hope this will be a good one for each and everyone of you

IDEA:
Growing up, there has been plenty of songs that have influenced feelings from cartoons I've watched. These feelings, from just a handful of emotions, were love, happiness, sadness, excitement and awe. I know this is certainly true for me ^_^ I've been contemplating this idea for quite a while, and have now summoned up the courage to see if there are others who'd be willing to make this kind of a video with me.

PURPOSE:
The purpose behind this MEP is to capture your childhood memories into one video for others to download and enjoy That is putting it simply, but the purpose is much more complex than that. You see, what I want is for each editor to put your own feelings into these pieces. To try and show others the kinds of feelings you've felt with the clips you use.

For example, if you remember a song that is funny and laughed at it, you could portray it with funny clips. If you were sad from a song, then try and present a sad aura from it, and so forth. By putting your feelings into this and concentration, I hope we'll make a masterpiece that will be remembered and treasured as those songs are to us ^_^!!

* The song length maximum should be 2 minutes.

How about, before you make your judgments, you actually think about this person's post? Hmm? Can you do that? Firstly, look at the guy's join date. Notice how he joined a year before you did (and the fact that he's made sixty six videos)? Don't call him a n00b. Secondly, he says that he's thought a lot about the MEP, which means it isn't just a whim-of-the-moment thing he's throwing out there. Thirdly, this reads much more like an interest gauge than anything else, so it's not like he's just asking for people to submit half-assed tracks right away. He wants to see who would like to edit what and take it from there.

I'm getting really sick of seeing you constantly be an ass to people when you don't even seem to consider what they're saying. Knock it off. This is a valid idea for a MEP. I've seen it pop up before, and with the right coordinator, I think it would work beautifully. I wouldn't join (time constraints), but I wholeheartedly support it.

actually he is like that with any new/unknown member that starts a MEP

anyway not all the people in the org is like that, and maybe with more info on technical aspects would help get people more interested?.

Anyway I like the idea, saddly I don't have time to participate in any kind of MEP

Indeed, don't take it personal. I'm just an asshole for no reason it would seem. Really, All I saw is that out of nowhere you recruited some guy from not the org, so I thought that you, him, and a bunch of future members were gonna be right off teh tube.

Well, I trust my friend. And I'm a girl ^_^ This is an idea I've been contemplating for a while, and to tell you the truth. I'm a little nervous about doing this. But I wanted to start somewhere, and with memories being the key factor. I just wanted to see what others would think.

I'm using the Vegas 6.0, and so it would be good if the videos were sent in wmv or avi. This being the first MEP I've done, I hope you'll all be patient with me.
