Submitted. It's Dark Comedy.

I had a version of this done early May, but wasn't satisfied. Then I had other things keeping me busy and didn't make a better version until today.

Of course, NOW I have another idea for a submission, which hopefully shouldn't take long. Is it possible to make multiple variations on a video like the Osaka-Mac AMVs?

EDIT: 2nd submission sent. Very current.

Aug. 1st is the deadline, but how long after this date will we have to wait for the fial video?

I just submitted two videos. Though I worry that one of them may be too gory and violent for the video and might be rejected because of it.

That is indeed a good question.

It's not that I'm in a hurry, it's just that I'm leaving around August 25th to study a semester in Japan and won't be back until the end of the year. I won't have my computer with me and I don't want to be kicked out of Japan for watching this type of material on a public computer, which they could possibly do from what I've read of the rules. (Funnily enough, Japan where this all originated. How ironic.)

Like I said, I'm not in a hurry, I'm just wondering if I have to wait until the end of the year to see if my submissions make it in.

It's not too gory. It's never too gory. In fact, it's never gory enough.

For each AMV Hell until now, the credits have been available as html-file as well. It really makes finding the favourite clips faster. That html has (so far) been work safe material.

Oh, if a certain one of my submitted videos makes it in, you won't have to worry about any commercial breaks. Those of you that are reviewing submitted videos should know perfectly well what I'm talking about... if you're familiar with commercials that played a long time ago when old cartoons were on anyway.

Ah, that's right. I forgot about the credits pages. So then this video will have its credits page, download links, etc posted on www.amvhell.com ?

Er, well, the thing of it is is that pretty much all of AMV Hell 0 is major weaksauce compared to pretty much all of the videos I made and the ones I plan to make. The only clips from Zero that could probably compare to mine are the Princess 69/Shock the Monkey, Nymphs of the Stratosphere/Cannibal Corpse and Night Shift Nurses/Scatman ones.

My point is is that if everybody else's submissions are about the same level as Zero, then wouldn't mine sort of ruin it for the people watching the completed video? I just hope you're right when you say "it's never gory [or violent or disturbing] enough."

The funny thing of it is though is that I showed my clips to my friends, none of them really knew that I watched hentai that was so far out there... let alone capable of creating AMVs out of it. I think one of them may think different of me now... >_>

At any rate though, I'll keep pressing on to get my ideas finished before the first of August.

We watch AMV hell 0 because we want to be offended. Everybody knows what it is, and if they don't like it, then they are pussies.
