Hah, yeah, it's a lot of work. I took a long time to mix out the Sum 41 MEP. It's not perfect, but meh.

And I just realized...no Serenade? D=

I PM'd nerd about his track but he never pm'd me back so i dunno if he's still gonna do it or not.. Till i get a pm its out of the MEP.

By the way, you wanted forever but i made 2 cuts out of it so you can choose between either the instrumental or the chorus track.

Honestly, listening to it again, I'm going to have to jump onto the chorus part of the song as long as it's transitioned into better than it currently is. Fits my idea a lot better and I'm not sure if I'd be able to edit well to the speed of the instrumental. I mean, I had ideas, but I was straining for them. hehe

Definitely can make a better track having the chorus to work with.

As for Serenade, that's a bummer. One of my favorite songs, but the pacing of the song really is a lot different than the rest so I understand.

Good job on the mix
It's true that at some places it could've been done better, but it's also good the way it is now. Besides this kind of music is pretty hard to mix... As for me and my track, I can't say anything for sure before the exams in january. It all depends on how well I do. If a miracle happens and I pass all of them on my first try, I might even be able to edit the whole track this winter. If not, I'll only be able to do it over the summer.
I planned on using Kurozuka which is airing this season, so the DVDs might not be available anytime soon and the raws are pretty crappy, so that's another thing that's stopping me from editing :?

sorry eva, been away from the comp, I'm fine doing pretty much any song from Kamelot, I don't really mind what you throw in.. whatever you think would fit in is fine with me, I would just really like to do serenade if possible.

I'll try taking out Nothing Ever Dies and try meshing serenade in there again but i was having alot of trouble with it. I'm trying all the mixing again on the weekend so no news till sunday prolly.

Also, I was wondering if it would be ok for me to use final fantasy 9 as my source footage?

the bit I want is from 2:50 to 3:55

thenkies :D

I dont have a problem with that assuming you can make ps1 footage look good at 848x480 :? .

The final result of the MEP is gonna be 848x480. If you don't own a widescreen monitor or TV by now your behind on the times :P.

Clearly I am behind on the times, gosh darn it all. But since my PC monitor kinda sucks then I'll most likely view the project on my laptop. Widescreen yays. So maybe I'm not behind. Only halfway, or something.

Also I plan on using Hellsing Ultimate for my footage, just to get it out there in case we're claiming sources and somebody beats me to it.
