[M.O.V.E Project] Anybody Intrested?

My MEP group and I are starting a MEP project-its called M.O.V.E and the song is Just Dance Sun Kidz REMIX by lady gaga. The song is about 6 mins and 20 seconds, long, and there is a special twist. Its going to be a bitchy, long, project but its going to rock. Ok, so here is what is going to happen- (FYI u need vegas and/or after effects, because it requires a lot of masking. o_0)

(I know it seems messy, but i already smoothed out a lot stuff, so if u have any questions ill be happy to answer.)

1. Everybody gets a number.
2. Ill send out the parts, u edit with little effects.
3. You will send the part to me, and I will send it to the next person with the next number. (ex, person number 2 will get person number 1's part, etc.) That person will mask the character, and add more depth, track motion, 3D effects, etc.
4. Each MEP part will go around to about 3-4 people, then it will go back to the original editor. That editor will clean it up as much as he/she wants, and makes it so its their part.
5. Ill put them together then upload it!

I know it sounds messy, but if we have good maskers it will turn out nice. Leave it to me to make it not effect whored, I was thinking like no filter effects, just nice professional looking effects, maybe even in a 3D room and scrolls and stuffs. ^_^

Hmmm, does that mean we will have to save our parts in lossless/huffy to send it to the next editor?

Or are you talking in particular like sending the project file, cause I don't see that happening. Unless theere is a way to do it that I don't know about.

I'll have to wait and see how this Interest gauge turns out before I make any decisions. I already got 2 ongoing MEP's, one near completion and the other not even started. It depends on my mood I suppose. I don't think I will join though.

ok! ^_^ Its kinda a test, but yes you would render it then send it on because if u send the project file there would be no source file and it would say "media offline" but thanks for considering!!!!! ^_^

you should look at the other MEP threads and see hwo they have everything organized and neat on the front page and you should go from there.

Ok so here it is:

The amount of parts vary depending on how many people sign up.

I'm more than happy to let u in if u know how to mask or have After Effects, nothing else is really required.

The anime that I would prefer for you to use is newer anime that was created past the year 2004, it will make it look nicer.

I'm looking for about 5 more people, at least 3 of which excel at after effects.

2 slots are available for those who can just mask.

Project will take about 3-4 months.

Final video will be available on various sites.

I'm not just looking to see if ur a talented editor, but nice too. ^_^ We are going to do a lot of communicating, so we all might as well be friends and have fun doing it!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm. Interesting. I actually am doing a collaboration with a friend that uses a similar idea. Except we are both using Final Cut Pro and are exchanging Source Files and Project files. (More like me copying my files from my external to his computer so the transfer is much faster.)

I'm surprised JCD hasn't commented yet, though dunno if he would be up for a MEP anyway ;p that being said, I might like to see the finished product, If its done well it could get alot of plays from me when i'm looking for something upbeat. (which is often) I probably won't have time to join tho unfortunately.

Edit: ooooooooook, thought this was about MOVE the group. misleading title. (which would explain the no JCD present) Meh although I do like lady gaga, dunno about how amvable it is, and not as interested in joining a project for that. so ignore my post >.> <.< *crawls back under the rock from wence he came*
