Going on how popular the opening with Doctor Who was with audiences, what if another fandom was tapped in the opening. Like if the Mega Man 2 opening was used and had some of the icon from salad in the windows of the tower and then Mega Man on top of course being watched by the geico money and the salad title being rendered in 8bit graphics?

The video will start with a dictionary definition of Salad Tossing and/or a clip using the audio from this

I do like that idea! and I Have been playing around with the Fruit Salad song a little... while i'm not sure about the first audio choice (love the second).... I absolutely LOVE the tossing clips idea!!!! ^_^

Aside from the weaponized pumpkin and the the German dance, we haven't started editing yet, but we do have a growing list of ideas to try (and a growing collection of audio).

I like this idea, though I'd be more inclined to seeing Donkey Kong or Mario. DK throws stuff which could be salad-related, and Mario is just more iconic.

I'll try to get something edited to send in (I have a problem that's rare for me- I have too many ideas and need to narrow them down).

Well I've got a notepad of all the ideas I have for the next one but uh...no actual work done lol. Most of what I've come up with thus far is more in the range of "quickies"...stuff that lasts a couple of seconds. I also need to get ahold of some of the anime I want to use, as I don't own it.
One of my possible idea clips at the moment plays off of those Target ads that run right now like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlqO3aGt ... =endscreen where like, say for example the scene in Chobits where he realizes he's gonna need to buy her some underwear. Do you think that may work as a running thing...like starting with a couple of mundane things then making it slowly more insane with stuff you would never find there (like flame throwers or giant robots or something).

Also I'll soon have some reaction stuff from Katsucon...which was uh...well the audience was really into it but it started way late due to them not having the stuff even remotely set up...and like it actually ended up not being projected fully onto the screen and then them making it stop midway through AMVS4 because time had run out (even though it was their fault).
