The Animatrix Trailer Group Project

Previously in late 2003 I did a trailer for The Animatrix which is a 4.5min trailer which has 8 different sections, one dedicated to each short in The Animatrix. This is probably the only trailer there is that would do well as a group project.

I'm curious if anyone would be interested in working on The Animatrix Trailer as a new group project with each editor being assigned one segment and being free to choose which ever anime they wish. Obviously, there will have to be a rule agianst two editors using the same anime.

Is there any interest in this?

I really don't have time for anymore AMVs/MEPs. So I don't have to consider joining, but I have to say that I saw your Animatrix Trailer when you released it way back, and it was really good. I don't really see the need to make a new it.

But like you said it's probably the only trailer that would work good for an MEP.

There are some things to considder first. Mainly, while the 8 sectionss of the trailer are easily dividable, at the begining and end of the trailer are lengths which mix clips from ALL sections of The Animatrix and who would be the one to edit that?

I'd consider joining it if the sections would be fairly short (which is what is sounds like) but I'm curious just what type of trailer this is supposed to be and what the clips would be set to.

Note that it is a VERY long trailer, totally 4.5mins instead of the standard 2.5mins. So for reference, you can all look at that. ^_^;
