Um, just finished my Revenga beta. I pmed the Metro one to Otaku. (Which he's probably still trying to DL the thing, b/c I exported in Huffy and it was huge. lol) Not sure if he's watched it. That one was a concept one since it's going to be an effects based vid. Revenga looks a lot more complete since its an action based vid, and I exported in both Huffy and XVid, the Huffy one has good quality, but its huge. The XVid one is a more reasonable size, but the quality suffers a bit. Which one should I upload?BDXRdemon wrote:k the deadline is today... not everyone has their betas in yet... so is it extended or whats going on?

Ok, of course the deadline has been extended
PLEASE send Xvid betas! Btw I did download the huffy (YUV)
and VD refused to look at it, thinking it's corrupted or something.
To be on the safe side export huffys in RGB if possible.

Probably my Metro beta. Ok. I'll re-encode Metro as xvid and resend and upload the xvid version of Revenga. But just note the vid quality isn't what it will be in the final one. lol.BDXRdemon wrote:which one is corrupted?OtakuForLife wrote:Ok, of course the deadline has been extended

Well, according to the time where I am, it's about an hour and a half late for what I thought was the deadline. lol. Sorry. But anyway, here's both my betas. Hopefully since these ones are A LOT smaller than the original Metro one, they'll DL and play better.
Here's Metro:
http://up-file.com/download/69ff6b60380 ... 6.avi.html
Which is going to be an effects driven vid (I'm going for weird, creepy, psuedo-random and overall very trippy), so this is the bare bones concept vid before I start putting all the effects in. The current overlays are not going to be staying exactly like that. It's just the clips that are going to be going over it in some form or another, like the solid overlays in motion path that you were telling Aneino_Kaijin to do. The weirdness at the bottom of some of the clips will not be there for the finished product.
And Revenga:
http://up-file.com/download/28d52933129 ... A.avi.html
Which looks more complete because its action driven. It will be deinterlaced.
And as I said before, the vid quality kinda suffered ecoding it in xvid, so the finished product will look better. Hopefully I'm on the right track with these. Let me know if you have any questions or problems.

Revenga looks awsome , though I'm sucker for gun vids
Metro, looks like a work in progress, the timing is off
and I think using the motion path stuff would be good.
Just try to not to overdo it ether cuase that can mess up
a video as well.
