@Willen: I count you in so far. I can understand your concern regarding 4:3 -> 16:9 conversion since I made the reverse thing for the vid in my sig (for artistic purpose). It can't be done with general settings, it has to be done scene by scene if you want to keep the visual important things. Since I make clips, I added the nulltransform filter in VDM to crop. Though it's probably easier to crop from the sides without losing important information than cropping from top and bottom.

@Flint: It would be pity if you couldn't join.

I want to apologize but I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop out of this project. Within the next month or so I'm going to be working on a school project so I wont have the time to use their equipment to make my clip for this AMV ... if anyone wants to take the Idea I had (Love Hina with Crazy Little Thing Called Love) and do it themselves, they're more than welcome to.

I have thought about more than one segment per editor. I allow 2 segments per editor as long as the rules are fullfilled. But mark what's your favourite segment. If the project becomes too long I'll drop some segments, and probably this will be segements from editors who made two. Though it's not decided yet, and in the moment is no danger of being too long.

Bulmafox, welcome in the project. You can call me FallenAngel if you like, that'll not confuse me.

But maybe some others are confused.

MCHeadcase, did you realize that the beta deadline is still more than 3 months away? 'Cause I'm not sure of this, I don't drop you from the project now, I put you at the optional list instead.

Yeah I did but there are still complications. Let me explain: the equipment I use to make AMVs isnt at my house, but I got the stuff at my community college (I'm in the TV department. But the last day of school before we get out for the summer is May 8th and i dunno if I'mma have enough time to make a good clip for this project.

Tell you what, just keep me in the 'optional' list and I'll let you know in the next couple of weeks whether or not I can actually do it.

Okay, I think you can consider me in. Three months to beta should be plenty of time, provided I don't get a full time job or something. Now, are we also picking the part of the track we're going to use, or are you doing all the choosing and mixing yourself? I imagine the mixing would be harder if we all picked the parts we want, but I'm sure we all have an idea as to what part we want to edit to.

Flint, welcome in. And yes, it is your free choice to which part from the song you want to edit. And it'll be my task to put them together in a way that makes sense.
