Hey, I'd like to join too! Song: Dreams Come True - track 7 of the album The Monster (sorry, don't know how to read Japanese). I haven't decided on the anime. A quick question though: is there a minimum length, because I think I'll just pick out the chorus or last part of the song which lasts 20-30 seconds...

Okay, I was considering joining this MEP, but now that you gave that bullshit reasoning, I'm definitely out.

There is nothing wrong with Windows Movie Maker. You can edit good videos with it, and if you do the exporting correctly, they can look just as good as anything from any other program.

I used WMM for a long time before upgrading to Magix, but I still have faith in the program. It's the abilities of the editors that make the videos, not the programs they edited them in. If you had told sailor_earth something like, "I'm sorry, I don't think you're a good enough editor," I would have accepted it, even though it's harsh. But this... blaming a program is bullshit. Why don't you just say "Premiere users only"? I think that about falls in with your standards.

yeah it was a little un needed to say that wmm shouldnt be aloud, some wmm can be very very good, its just that lot of people dont know how to use it that way. he should have just said he didnt like sailor earth's work. i fully agree with dj ultma

It's just that Sailor Earth decided that No was not an answer and continued to question.

So, he had to come up with another excuse....plus, how would they export to huffy? Unless using another program......which can be troublesome '-_-'

ok ill say wat i shouldve said to earth i really dont like your work i just said that cuz i didnt want to hurt his/her feelings i guess u can use it

Rules for WMM should be something like, it has to be in high quality AVI render. No WMV. After all, you can get AVI files from WMM, they'll just be hella big.

After that, just send it through another program and recompress. That's what I did on my last AMVs of WMM. (Although I didn't choose the right programs, the process will still work)

You should also add something about the fact that you can decided not to use a clip submitted for any reason. It's your mep you've started, therefore you get the final say on what goes. If people enter a clip that doesn't make it, too bad. That is the risk of putting your stuff out there.
