Well, I don't have skills, but I've been masking alot of frames lately....but I'm super slow at doing it O.o
One problem would be that you would have to specify how to correctly rotoscope and stuff, so that when two people have tracks in a row, they don't possibly have varying pixels or cut offs etc.
But, Definetely a sweet macho libre idea......
I'm gonna test out how well my masking works when I edit it correctly and put it to motion....O.o
Oh, and would it be one song? Or a bunch of songs? Or maybe just their theme songs XD....I can see it now.......Rurouni Kenshin kicking butt to the Hamtaro theme song.....

This is far out of my skill range, but it sounds intriguing. I'd love to see this thing happen.

Another problem would be that things may take a while because you'd have to wait for say a previous track to finish in order to start your own, leading off from the last frame of the other person's track. Just maybe...... Or may be not...
Maybe the transition could be like moving from panel to panel......for example, someone walks into another manga panel....or say Kenshin hits Hamtaro into the Evangelion panel.....
This would be even sweeter if in the vid:
A. someone from one series falls in love with another person in a other series, but has to leave
B. Someone kills/fights someone from another series, and only escapes when finding the next anime series person
C. Hello Kitty meets Bleach

I don't think this would work unless it's similar to Wizard of Osaka where the characters actually interact throughout the whole AMV and have one common goal. It would be a random clump of confusion with every editor trying to mask to some played-out thought on the spot idea. There wouldn't be a definant story.
