yeah maybe your friends should join too?

If you make your MEP open for other entries you loose the personal touch of the project. It´s the nearly same thing if you would just be part of someone else MEP.

You´re right. It´s kinda rushed. Just think about it more.

Well, you could still make this MEP, but do it off forum with your friends, then upload/announce it here once you're done. That way you can still do your MEP, and no one will be complaining about there being too many AMV Hells going on right now. (And AMV Salad 2: the Second Serving is also going on. :?)

edit: Um, yeah, what Bauzi was saying, but he hit submit a couple minutes before me. :P

sssssss

Be carefull with such things! Really. One thing that people really tend to not like is addvertising. Even more if it comes from an editor nobody knows. It´s a different if Kevin Caldwell or you open such a thread.

People like me get really pissed from people who come along with a thread like:
"Hi!

Here are my amvs on the tube <link>

Feel free to comment them there because I don´t think that I´ll come back to this site ;) "
This is a true story and this guy just had the account here for one post that was a stupid add for his vids to get some more clicks.

Ok I´m not pissed on you, but I just felt that I should inform you about such things.
If you really feel the need to inform people about your project: We have a journal funtcion on the main page.

This forum´s section is more for the planning and execution of ongoing MEPs. Not to inform people.

Make the whole stuff more private and just come along with stuff like technical question and when it´s all done you can post a nice amv-announcement thread at the right section.

It would probably be a good idea to not call it "AMV Hell ..." , because that name is "owned" by Zarxax and SSGWNBTD - not owned in a legal sense, but they have dibs on it and probably wouldn't like you using it.

Why is it that majority of the time someone hosts a mep and it starts to fail, they always blame their "friend"? Thats probably the number 1 excuse. "My friend told me to do this" -_-
