You need to have some patience. My track is 3 minutes, I'm not going to make a rash decision on which source I want to use for it. I want to think about it and pick carefully, so you'll have to either wait or kick me.

I personally like the decision of leaving the sources with their resolution. If most tracks would end up being 16:9, it'd be a shame to have a mostly letterboxed mep for just a couple fullscreen tracks (cropping 16:9 to 4:3 would be a waste of detail, on the other hand, so not a good solution anyway) - in a case like that, it would be better to just pillarbox the 4:3 ones.

I personally like 4:3 640x480 best when mixing source footages, but that's just me.

I'd say seeing what the source majority is and going with that would be our best bet.

Of course, we could always just upscale and crop 4:3 sources.

I dislike pillarboxing myself, but compared to a terribad loss of detail, I'll gladly take it.
