ShadowNOS

Just checked out your new beta. Glad you removed the 30 sec+ falling scene from the original teaser. I really like the flow of this beta much better. For some reason it reminded me of Black Hawk Down.
Hopefully the Orchestra can keep up with a few of your cuts. Can't wait for the final version and i'm not even a mgs fan.. The video quality was damn good too.

Still looking for someone to critique my Drakengard 2 vid (get the file that has Technical in i) it's fully done!

ShadowNOS how long is the song you got?

About 4 mins, and yeah, I'll be slowing down some of those cuts or at least extending the transitions. I was in hurry to get back to where I was since some difficulties got in the way causing me to redo the whole thing. Although I'm glad I restarted, its much better now.

Is this thing still alive? There seems to be only 4 active members on it... From what I can tell..

define "active" :P

just because people don't post in a thread or upload beta's all the time doesn't mean they're not working on their tracks.

not necessarily meaning upping beta tracks, but some updates every now and then about the whole project would help.

Lockstock: Your location says Australia, will you be attending Fantasia?

also, does anyone know if a dvd of the concert will be available to buy or for free  for video editors?

I definitely hope so, I'd love to actually see our videos getting played to the orchestra.

I considered going but with my lack of finances, high price of flights and high price of tickets to the concert I ended up deciding against it :/

probably would have gone if i could have got into the concert for free but that wasn't possible with this eminence concert unfortunately.

Ha yeah, videogames are a bitch to work with... If we we're doing FF tracks the amount of people would like triple, easy. But every single company has told me what to use / what not to use, and its made it hard on everyone.

When fantasia, anime edition rolls around, most anime is licensed by Madman, who are our sponsors, so theres usually no problem there.

But the couple of us are active, yes.

Understatement of the year.

Anyways, I’ve uploaded to the FTP a Quality Beta. Basically it has a few tiny things left to deal with, but generally this is what its going to look like in full quality. Except that the final version will be MPEG-2 and not XVID.

If anyone notices something wrong with it that I may have missed, which is possible, let me know ASAP so I can fix it.

If anyone is wondering, I emailed the people about a dvd sale, and here's what they replied.
Your merchandise inquiry just got forwarded to me. There is a
possibility that there will be an ANIF07 DVD, but i doubt that the
gaming companies will let us put the videos on it. They have only
permitted us to use the videos for the concert itself.
BUmmer, was really looking forward to buying a dvd of my own work

If they allow camcorders, I'll gladly buy a high quality version from someone attending... If you capture both the orchestra and video.

I suppose we could mix and match the video our selves and have perfect timing, but it just wouldn't be the same 8-)
