I just sent my second beta to all

Holly effing crap Madara. I'm loving this. Got a good groove to it, and the new additions really help your story/concept out. The bit with the font was really clever and syncs well. Although I'm a little worried on the visual quality? Was this a stretch out or a quick render to send as a beta?? I'm on the fence about the darker contrast. Epecially since Macross is a gorgeous anime to begin with. I'll leave those to Aimo to decide though.

It's much nicer with those scene additions now! Though at 0:17(he ate my heart) you might want to replace that clockwork scene with something else because that's when the music kinda shifts. 0:21 with Alto kinda disappears too quickly to the music.(just a few frames too early - not much because you want girl synced to Ranka) Also I really liked the mask/in blend transition at 0:23 but at 0:25 it's just a random hard cut. ;__; Try something different there? Or even a flash will do just for that beat there. And while I like the text effect, I'm not entirely sure about the font....oh and at 0:28 was Ranka meant to be synced to the lyrics? Because it feels too short. And I don't really mind it with/without the contrast so that's up to you and the rest to decide, good job so far though!

Oo...some nice changes here. I'd still recommend shifting the scene at 0:15 a few frames earlier so his face comes up quicker. And I understand you're trying to sync to the woah-o for the second part but it still feels kinda slow. Hmm...first, the scene at 0:17..is there a way to move it forward by a few frames and also lengthen it till 0:20? About 0:20-0:24...if you don't want to change the scenes here, the only other suggestion I can think of is to...add more scenes and replace the crossfades with sharp hardcuts to give it more impact. The scenes don't have to have much, maybe just a little movement from the character or something.Oh and a little pan/camera movement would help speed up the pacing too. 0:24 has quite a big beat too so a scene with better impact here would look nicer. Otherwise really good! I like it.

This is much better than the first beta. I can see what you are trying to sync to. I do think some of your black fade syncs are kinda unnecessary though and feel too sharp like at 0:03 & 0:08. I think at 0:10 a closeup scene of his face might be better. 0:11-0:12 feel kind of still so maybe some light camera movement. I think you can also shift her face at 0:31 a few frames earlier so it goes with the musical rhythm in the background. And about the scenes of their feet at 0:33-0:34 could you should replace it with something else that stands out a bit more? Perhaps one of the guy looking shocked that she produced so many weapons. And try and smooth out the additive flashes a little. But it's really nice so far. ^^

0:19 with the cat kinda looks like a throw-off scene, like a scene out of sequence with the other scenes.

Other than that, it looks sexy

Sorry all, due to a family emergency I left town earlier than expected last week and have been out of town since then. Can't very well download and watch anything on this 6 inch laptop thing, but I promise as soon as I'm back home, whenever I get the chance, I'll get you all your critique and get working again on my beta. @Mystyk: @:15 the bright yellow scene here kind of doesn't meld well with the other scenes which were more darker/milder. :21 & :23, I'm not a fan of the outer border effect thingy, but this might just be a personal thing, so take that as you will.
