You know I suggest that deadline date be in the title of the this thread if people are going to keep missing that.

Looks like it needs to be in bold caps at least anyways. You'd think being the second thing stated in the first post would be enough :\

At the beginning of AMV Hell 3 there was a CG opening using the theme song "Highway to Hell". Is there a chance that there will be another CG opening for AMV Hell 4? Because if there will be, I'd be happy to make one.

We haven't come to a solid decision on what to do for the opening, but I doubt it will be CG again. I will keep you in mind though just in case.

this is unfortunate but I still look forward to it :)
Out of curiosity, why was this rule introduced? Aren't the commercial and skit clips part of the charm of AMV Hell?
AMV Hell 4 is going to focus on short music videos and leave commercials, film and tv audio for other MEPs to use. The original idea for the Hell projects was to make AMVs using songs that had lyrics or music sections that worked well for a strange video but also had other parts in the song which would make a full length AMV boring. Musicless audio videos never fit well in the project. They really slow things down and aren't as funny and interesting as the videos that use music.

i dont think thats true

i think the ones that were like little commercials or comedy acts were funnier than the ones with songs. although some of the ones with songs were funny, alot more of the non song ones were funny

It's true. Non-song segments are funnier. I only laughed out loud at one segment in AMV Hell 3, and it was the one where Sailor Moon is all "My nipples are gettin' hard just thinkin' about it."

That was one of the ones I laughed at as well. I'd also tend to agree that the non-song elements were funnier.

It just wouldn't be right. AMV Hell without non-song bits wouldn't be AMV Hell...

on the other hand, AMV Hell without song bits would be... Robot Chicken
