Why don't you try deleting your preview files, if you have any, or burning a few CDs of footage?

I have space enough, and it might be usefull some day. I just burn my movies.. nothing else.. sometimes a couple of anime series..

so you mean it isn't original to use that combo? all things being it is the first thing i thiught of and threw out idea wise...esp since i don have any FMA
