If you're actually putting some thought into how appropriate the source is to Doom, then stick with FMA and YuYu Hakusho. Those are the only ones listed that feature demon-like creatures. Bebop may have guns... but that's not really enough unless you're desperate.
Samurai X would only be a good consideration if you're more worried about mood sync with the song, but even then it would stick out with a slight "wtf? samurai?" factor.

my initial reaction whilst listening to the track and thinking about the particular animes is FMA. FMA i think would suit the mood of the anime. Don't worry about sticking to the 'demon' type stuff of Doom. A lot of this project is open ended, as long as it's portrayed seriously (ie: non-comedy) and non-romantic. I want something semi-dark, but that doesn't exactly mean horror and demons. Every creator portrays different themes with different techniques, which is one of the purposes of this particular MEP.

When I asked Phade to reactivate my Forum account he typed in GeneStarwind21122 and not Gene Starwind 21122. So he couldn't fing the account and created this one. (genestarwind21122). Kinda confussing.
I'm thinking that I'll be going with FMA and YuYuHakusho. So you could put me down for them.

I was reading some earlier posts in this thread and decided to comment on this..
From my project experience, I would recommend having the 15 frames of black at the start and end of the videos since this isn't a nonstop project like DDR. It's very unoticable and helps greatly if certain tracks end abrupt. I assume most people will fade out their tracks anyways so the 15 frames will still be unoticable.
Hopefully people don't get confused with 15 frames and 15 seconds of black footage like in the NES project

welll what i was going to do is make sure that every editor (even the ones who edited their song length down) kept the original beginning and end of the song, and the short bits of silence that entail. That way it would still flow the same. But if you think we're better off that way then ok, 15 frames of black at the beginning and end it is.
