That's weird....

I just tried to download Jasper's new version of "Forbidden Memories" - and the "Local" link just re-directs me back to the video's information page.

Must be some strange bug in the system.

Wait... that only happens if I'm not logged in. Still probably a bug, since it should bring me to the login page, but at least I can get to the video.

Well... we could try estimating, but experience tells us that there's a 99% chance that it wont hold even remotely true. Heh.

I think there's a problem with me not being able to connect to your server in Passive Mode.

Options:
1. use another server
2. use the old version

Take your pick.

I'd try Kallium's suggestions to try Active Mode and/or his server. I really can't find anything wrong with mine, especially where you were able to connect and tranfer several megabyte before being cut off - and my FTP process hasn't crashed or been turned off in days (I checked my process list and logs just now to make sure it was still up - which it was - meaning it hasn't gone down, since I don't have it configured to be automatically restarted if it dies).

If neither of those options works I'll do a test with the .org version of the new one to see whether the generation loss would be a problem. I really do like what you've done with the remake, so I'd prefer to use some version of that if it is at all possible.

Just out of curiousity, how long will the entire project go on when it's finished, or has that not been determined yet? just a vague idea is more than fine. Also, I realize it's been asked, but is there any guess at all when this will be finished? not anytime soon, but maybe sometime this year?

The videos for the project are all finished but there has been some encoding trouble. So as soon as it gets fixed it will be done.

If your asking for runtime I'm not sure, about an hour I think.

Rose4emily: What DV codec are you using? I tried to send a huffy but it's just too large.

It'd be cute if we could release the project on the anniversary of its conception, but uh, that's only about a week away. T__T
