Re: Micheal Jackson "Thiller" Tribute MEP (4 Open Slots!!!)

Post by TwilightChrono » Wed Jul 01, 2009 9:04 pm

For my beloved track 6 I think I will go with Inuyasha The Movie 2 and Higurashi along with the live action Thriller dance at some parts (IF I can manage to find an uber high quality version) If not, then I will just use Inuyasha The Movie 2: The Castle Beyond The Looking Glass and Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni [When They Cry]

Not sure what I wanna use for track 1 yet, since it is credits. I'll just wait until we get members locked in.

Also, kenzlove, what are the qualifications for video quality? I have no problem with it. I already know my way around VDM, VFAPI, DGIndex and AVS files. So no problems there. But what kind of quality standard are we going for. I'm not sure if everyone is clear or not. I for one don't want the final to turn out looking like, it just emerged from a pit of sand in the desert, and right when it does, it rains and little rainbows appear, and they invite their colorful blocky friends.

Everyone should be using DVDs =)
If anyone has any problems ripping or using VDM, DGIndex, or Avisynth, go Read <a href=http://www.a-m-v.org/guides/avtech31/>ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides Lovingly Overhauled Largely by Zarxrax</a>. Anyway, I''m not expecting too much difficulty from it, most people here are quite skilled editors, judging from the list.
<Stirspeare> Otohiko: You guys sure love dongs.

okay, track 5 and track 11 are aailable. (11 may be replaced with 15 depending on Kit because he had them first)

Also, I almost lost my sweet compy to a virus. so I'm being extra careful and will only open rar. files from ppl actually on the project.

I gave a track to everyone who asked except for (edit) Hareoic (end edit) who wanted to pick.
I''m a little bit stressed because i haven't had to deal with HTML since i was a freshman so if there is a mistrake on the main post please tell me! there's a lot of tiny marks and letters that i can't see.
For everyone new to this project (i don't wanna send private messages to everyone) I'm legally blind just so you know. So give me a break with typing lol.

2 available slots- one is probably gonna be taken up by Heroic.

By the way everybody...
I wanted to thank you guys for baring with me and my short comings. I wouldn't be in this position if it wasn't for your help. Twilight Chrono cutting the song, Eclipse telling people requirements that i have no idea about, Kimberly typing down that anime editors are gonna use, Moonie finding pictures, StrawberryKiss making the banner, and Pankyy working with HTML...i swear i would be lost without everyone on this project.

I'm actually in tears right now.

I feel so aided by everyone around me I can't help but think I don't deserve this.
I know i can't do it all by myself. So please continue to help me!
As everybody knows, this is my first mep, and first amv (technically not but its the only one that will actually work once it's uploaded *growl* I only made one amv before and i couldn't figure out how to upload it)

So...cookies all around! i'd give everyone gold if i could...
Thank you so much everyone! I know we still have a lot to do! Especially the editors! Please do your best. I'm humbled enough to have so many people doing this tribute to a man who really deserves it. Micheal Jackson! I know this amv isn't for me, it's for him and everyone who loves Thriller!! keep that in mind.

Auu...THANK YOU!!
