Yeah, I wanted to put the brown haired guy in there, but it's really hard to convey her and his connection, as well, in only 40 seconds xD
If you pay close attention to the lyrics at that part, (would you give it all up, could you give it all up, if I promise, boy, to you?), the "would you give it up" blah blah is her talking to herself about having to give up her past love, brown haired guy. The ring she receives from the blue haired guy, however, is her promise, essentially, to be with him. Though in that last scene that fades out, you can see her crying (in my eyes, over losing that past love). But she still keeps the ring on.

Of course, I don't really expect anyone to just jump straight to that conclusion when watching it hahahaha. But that was my train of thought :p

0:20 - 0:23 was a part I was offset by a little bit because I wasn't too sure why its there. 0:41 - 0:42 can have a 100% - 0% opacity going on during the zoom in. If it doesn't look good, than just do what you were doing before. Also, I notice a ghost frame is occurring after that girl snaps her fingers so just be aware of that. Other than that, looks great! Nearly ready for a final!

Yep, this was what I managed to understand after watching it the 2nd time. :3 It's not super clear so I would suggest a little colouring or even some tint of black and white to the past scenes to make it more distinguished from the other ones. But otherwise, it's great so far!

Yeah, that's true. I'm actually using blue to represent scenes in the past, I don't know if that's obvious.

In the beginning, she meets the blur haired guy outside of the "club", or rather had. But when it zooms onto his face, the blue fades away, representing the transition to the present, where she meets him again (her surprise in the next scene gives further evidence).

Probably not, but I'll nonetheless add something there.
Because I've seen the anime, I know the sequence of events, and I know that after she decides to be with the blue haired guy and after doing the smex, she goes to see the browned haired guy, which is why it didn't have anything there initially.
But I think as the viewer, you are correct, and it doesn't mess with my overall vision of the track, so I'll probably mess with that a bit :p

As pretty much everybody has said, the scene at :01 doesn't match, but I think that's something easy to fix. Also, (another repeated thing) the Kanba clip needs to move a little. I agree with the pan Taite & AyumiNeko suggested. Other than that, I really love your part *O* Mawaru Penguindrum

Talk about flawless! I don't really see any problems with it besides the part where she snaps her fingers is a little weird to me. Great part though! 8D Shiki is one of my favorite anime.
