Okay, here's an updated list for reference of the new order of clips in Reheated. This is mainly to help communicate ideas clearly and so I can have a visual of where things are.
Early Clips - I think I'm noticing where some of the issues are that I keep seeing. I thought this order might help, but unfortunately Bird is the Word and Head On are just too... I don't know... old to be that close to the beginning. They really feel out of place next to the quality of the earlier clips, because Bird is the Word just is not very well edited, and Head On is not really that much of a joke to me since it uses an obvious connection. It causes the whole thing to feel stilted really early on, so I personally think they need to switch places with a couple of better clips and go toward the middle.
Musical Clips - My original suggestion was a bit different than what you have now, but before labeling them all I didn't even notice they were a large cluster of musical ones. All the rest of the production has a decent smattering of musical to joke balance, but the beginning is all music, then all clips. I think this needs to be mixed up a bit because I start to notice the test pattern and get annoyed at it during the large cluster of shorter clips.
Ending - The ending clips are okay, but I believe we can take some of the better clips and put them there to end with a bang. Also... AMV Salad 7? You're forgetting, this is going to be playing during the Classic night on Friday, AMVS6 will be playing after this on Saturday. This'll just confuse people. Honestly, I'd say just leave it as "Stay Hungry" and then maybe scale up the footage and have it turn red gradually or something
Like it's seeping into your brain. It'll keep things simple and unambiguous.
New Clip additions - I mentioned these before, I'd still like to see them in, and we have plenty of time:
AMVS4 - My FMA "Slap Chop" and Clannad "I don't wanna lose the house" clips I would like to see added. Clannad was badly placed in AMVS4 (plus nobody could hear it) so I'd like to try it more toward the center this time. And Slap Chop can go anywhere easily as another musical.
AMVS2 - I'll Be Watching You (This one can go almost anywhere, it's a great one)
AMVS3 - Gurren Lagann - On a Boat (Again, can go almost anywhere, AND guarantees a boost in audience energy)
Again, I did this really late, so I'm too tired to think coherently anymore about which clip goes where, I'll come back to it soon
It should be pretty easy stuff. It's basically moving more of the older ones to the center I think.
