Ok people, it's time for the beta 2 of the MEP, make all possible comments you want because the only thing left is attaching the outro

@Tritio
On the the order:
You grouped the death segments together and the same-sex couple segments together. I understand it with AngelDragoon's and ours since we both have the most down-beat songs, but I'd rather see the themes varied more. I think Mkid's would be a good one to start because the song starts with "1, 2, 3, 4" which I think would flow well from the headphone girl at the beginning, and I think the last AMV should end on a happier note. (Probably Kireblue's because it ends with a marriage and the counting would be nicely cyclic.)
The flow between segments is abrupt... I've never compiled an MEP, so I don't know offhand what works-- maybe longer fades through black(or white), or an image that breaks the segments up.
*EDIT* (I totally flaked before)... Is there something wrong with the final I submitted to you and thus that mysterious black stretch? My internet connection was behaving terribly when I uploaded the segements so I wouldn't be overly surprised if the first one never finished uploading.

Re: Valentine MEP 2012 - Phase 1
I'll check it again by tomorrow. But when I opened it I didn't have any problem
Also, the order of tracks was random, but if anyone wants to suggest a new order it's welcome. That was my purpose to put this little beta since this is something that can be fixed
When watching the beta, I was also thinking the same: To upbeat to downbeat?

I agree and have the track after mine be the second track, those two go very well togetherWarlike Swans wrote:@Tritio

I agree with that order suggestion; the start of Mkid's track works well not only with starting it off 'happy', (which I think it probably should...otherwise the 'sad' might be carried all the way through. XD; ), but also the counting. It should probably also end on a happy note, and have variation on the upbeat/down beat tracks, just to make it flow nicely emotional wise, (what's there is good now tempo wise, just those that could be the beginning/end ones would be best to shift around). Perhaps the girl with the headphones can come first and last? That'd make it fit altogether nicely. Looking forward to seeing it complete!
Edit: Uh, also, just something small...was my track suppose to just cut in like that? I'd prefer to have it just fade in from another track, but if you'd like it the way it is that's fine.

Re: Valentine MEP 2012 - Phase 1
Suggestions taken
It's decided: Mkid track starts the MEP, followed by Code, which track you suggest to continue after Code? A downbeat or an upbeat? or shall we made something like: up-down-up?
Also: I received a message about a 10th track, but it will only enter into the MEP if he first made it on time. I can't delay the premier due to a track that wasn't extended in the deadline
And... due to the changes, seems the most appropiate fact is to separate the tracks through the fades, so that will be fixed in your case ANgel

Re: Valentine MEP 2012 - Phase 1
In terms of order, I think that this sequence might work. Although, you'll need to have longer audio fades/ cross fades in order to transition better between the tracks.
1) Ouran Host Club vid
----------*Longer crossfade needed
2) Vampire Hunter D vid
3) The video that uses "Next Thing You Know" by Matthew West
4) No. 6 vid
5) Penguin Drum vid
6) Millenium Actress vid
7) The video that uses the song "Simplistic Trance-Like Getaway" by Never Shout Never
8) The video that uses the song by Paramore
9) MM vid
or maybe

Re: Valentine MEP 2012 - Phase 1
I request Mkid permission to do something in the first track. Actually I was also thinking that the fade should be longer, but I got an idea for that moment instead of just leaving the crossfade. If my idea doesn't work then we go to the crossfade.
