I've begun work on the project again, I changed my audio track some, though I kept the original length. I'd like some feedback on it, maybe move that clip further back along the audio track, or add more of something to the track.
Also, wasn't Prodigi going to give us a update on the project?

Prodigi - I'm having the same problem. I'm adding the text on my track, but the font just looks way too big. As Takefuji said, I'm not sure if this is just our program or not:TakefujiYami-sama wrote:You said you want the font Arial Black at size 24, yes?

That's how big it is compared to the rest of the video. I'm just wondering if that's a little too big, because my program has a tendency to do weird things O.o Or if that's how you want it.
Any chance of changing this? I'm not sure if this looks any better, but it's just 22 pt. Arial font:
If this is the fault of our program, could you give us an example of how big the font is actually supposed to be?
And one more question - why do you want the final copy in mpeg2 and not huffyuv? My track is finished, but the mpeg encode doesn't look that great ^^;

*Ahem* So I lied.
Prodigi - I was wondering if it would be alright if I joined up again, only using different footage? I currently have 130 Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children clips on my computer, and I love the Dark Side of Phobos track that I signed up for. I'm just wondering if CG footage wouldn't look right with an Anime project
I've already begun editing my track with AC clips, and I'm enjoying it a lot ^.^ Is it alright with you if I change my video source from Escaflowne to Advent Children?

Oooookay, i promised a big re-spark and so here it is... i guess :\
havn't been able to update much of late because studies are taking up all of my time, and it's becoming a pretty big strain. But, the good news is, after much indecision, we shall moved forward and continue the project. Due to the obvious absense of me for such a great period of time, and people having no pressure, the idea of having the entire project finished by AWA seems much more far-fetched. So i'm gonna set the final project deadline to July 10th. The reason for this is that July 10th is convenient for me, and gives me time to do the final encode and have it sent off [This may be pushed back, depending on what the final deadlines are once announced].
Ok, so as far as i know of the moment, Onimura has been forced to drop. That's all of this moment (i'm pretty sure) because others who did drop have taken their tracks back up.
Ok, so that means there's one free track (i will update the original post to show this as well), and that everyone has the deadline they have been waiting for ^^
Just so you know the deadline may not end up being the be-all and end-all. If it looks like too many people are having difficulties, or have other plans which clash (i for one have to finish one of my newer videos for AWA, have to finish my Reflections Of Style 3 track, and i have exams coming up) then we'll scrap aiming for AWA and just set it for a normal release later in the year. But let's stick with AWA for now and see how we go.
TakefujiYami-sama - for now, yes you can re-enter using Advent Children (for now), but within the next few weeks could you please send me a poc of at least 20 seconds for it? Becuase i'm unsure if AC would work for that particular track, so i'd need to have a look.
*inverse* - the reason i asked for Mpeg-2 rather than HUFFYUV is simply because the entire project will be over 1 1/2 hours, and so if i'm having to recieve 1 1/2 hours of Huffyuv footage, then i'd have to set the deadline even earlier so i could recieve all the footage in time. A good Mpeg-2 compression usually leaves good quality and keeps the filesize down. (To my knowledge VG3 had it's tracks submitted in Mpeg-2, and then final quality of the project was quite nice). Also, i'm going to change the font size, because yes, it looks bigger than i remember :\ For now set it at 16 Arial.
Orwell - the track alterations you sent me seem fine, so go with that.
I think that's it overall, except we need 1 more space to be filled. (consult first post for more information)
Final Deadline - 10th July
Next POC Deadline - May 15th [At least 40 seconds completed]
