Alrighty, I've grabbed everything posted so far. We're looking good. Well, perhaps good isn't the term to use here. Anyway, it looks like there will actually be enough to make a MEP.

Neither Sailor Earth or the mods have bitched about the title so 'Dedicated to Sailor Earth's MEP' is the official title. Since that's kinda clunky to type out we need an acronym. I'm thinking 'Some Horrible Intensive Travesties'. If someone has a better idea let me know.

Sailor Earth mentioned she's still doing her MEP. We'll have to see. If it does come out then I'll cut any segment that is part of it so as to not duplicate things.

hay if you think this can go on local... then use it... if you dont think it can then feel free to cut it... i cant afford hosting Razz so i cant offer it.... but if someone else offers hosting... meh you get the idea

Actually I think this is ok for local although it's pretty borderline. I'll run it and any other borderline submissions past an admin before uploading. I hope I can include it, the project wouldn't be as horrible as it could be if it doesn't have blatent homosexual sex to scare the male viewers who are less than confident in their sexuality.

You know what makes this great? With only working on it an hour that means you already had all the various sources on your HD. For some reason I find it very amusing that you have audio of fart noises just sitting around your HD waiting to be used.

Here's my vid. I was originally just going to put one action sequence to the whole song, but as I was trying to figure out which of the animes I had on my comp I was going to use, I thought it would be more amusing to use all of them.

This looks like a Real Video amv made in the late 90's. With cheesy transitions tossed it. Can't ask for anything more horrible than that.

You know what makes this great? With only working on it an hour that means you already had all the various sources on your HD. For some reason I find it very amusing that you have audio of fart noises just sitting around your HD waiting to be used.

No I downloaded a family guy clip and threw it at the end. And yeah my HD has all the clips waiting to be used.. I edit the DVDs directly with d2vs put in avisynth and converted to vfapi.. around 250 DVD sources placed on my harddrives all ready to be used with my 1 terabyte of space.. I just scroll through the movies in the editor and then just place them.. and yes this took about an hour to make.. I wasn't really keeping track but it was around an hour to make this.

For all I care you can do 50 videos for the project. As long as they abide by the rules and don't show any trace of talent or real editing.

I took the ones people posted in Sailor Earth's MEP thread as just smart ass, annoying or ridiculous.. before I looked at this thread I thought that's what it was going to be all about.. not about shitty quality, shitty editing.. etc.. shit well that was my hopes.. I call for another project to be like that it just sounds like fun.

In the spirit of Sailor Earths MEP where this came from, the project will whatever people will submit. The only editing constrants I'm putting on submissions is that it be fairly short and horrible. I define horrible as anything that makes the viewer go 'who the hell spent time making this piece of shit???' which can easily encompass smart ass, annoying, or ridiculous. It also includes shitty editing/quality and if people submit that then fine by me. As long as at the end of the project none of the submissions make me think 'Hmm, that would make a decent full length video...'

I will note that anything I do for the project will be smart ass/annoying rather than shitty editing/quality.
