I had an idea using Ghost in the Shell along with... something (I know what it was, but I'm not telling you!), but it was more of a comedy than a horror idea.

I'd say I'm in, but I'm not. I can't come up with something by then. Look forward to the video, though!

and I WOULD SOO TOTALLY make it due on halloween, but I would have 2 weeks to get the creators have them make freeking crazy scary parts, download them then put them all together with credits and info with beggining parts and my part.. let alone the AMV upload request... in 2 weeks...

..of course only in huffy, using DivX and then putting that DivX into the project creates unnessasary Quality Loss.

Wha? Haven't you already decided on the codecs you are accepting yet? o.O

I suggest you use whatever codec you prefer from the common ones used for MEP submisions.
Those are Huffyuv, Lagarith (might not have spelled it right) Divx and Xvid
Huffyuv and Lagarith are ofcourse high quality since they are lossless.
Divx and Xvid are very good for mep submisions too if they are encoded with high quality settings.
Now...

We are allowed to use multiple anime and songs in our videos right?
Im thinking about doing something similar to my Frightful Frantic amv ^_^
