Psh, it's fine. I agree with absolutely everything you said, even though i've acted against those thoughts for a while now.JaddziaDax wrote:I'm not trying to get on your case specifically or anything but yea there's been a lot of angst going around on this forum I kinda went and soap boxed for a minute O.o

Yeah, that's what I've been talking about. Ignoring them would be alot better, then the usual Org reaction. Theirs a reason their aren't as many active users as their should be here, their isn't many, due to the fact all the users flame others. -.- Of course I'm different, I can take all the flaming, since the others make themselves look like idots. ;D I just laugh while they make a failed attempt.JaddziaDax wrote:giving them a chance and spoon feeding them are two different things..
You guys who are burnt out could EASILY ignore newb threads and leave them to the people who aren't burnt out on helping them...
telling them stuff like "gtfo" isn't going to help them in any shape or form.
Even if its mean toned something like "read the guides then come back" is more helpful than "gtfo" and the like
When I said be supportive, that's all depending on your positive liking of the entire concept, if your oposed to the statement, just ignore the whole concept. And don't make some smartass reply.NerdStrudel wrote:he also edited his post to make fun of this guy more.
but to Keish, I suppose you're right, we should give them a chance, forget the fact that there are countless guides,FAQs,etc... even other topics that have failed, littering this area for them to read if they really care, also forget the fact that most members here have dealt with SOOO many people here like this that they are just tired of it by now. Sure, we probably should give some of them a chance, if they are new and show some evidence that they at least tried to give a shit, not like these kinds who say:
"Join this MEP, here's my Youtube page (sub for teh uber coolz), I won't tell you anything about how I want the video to look, what anime I want to see, any kind of concept, any restrictions, or god forbid a fucking MIX from the band you're dedicating a 10 minute segment of video to, no.. Just fucking wing it, then when it's all done i'll slap my name on it and say I Coordinated it, when really. I didn't do shit"
So yah, I suppose you're right, we should give noobs a chance...if they try.
Indeed, that is correct. But.. there most likely, going to attempt, anyway. So either be supportive of so, or.. give them advice that isn't something like 'LULZZ, I ISH KWL, GTFO NEWBB!12@#!!'. Because that's what you seem like to me, when you make a comment of something like that, not directly referring towards you, just everyone that does this. Or.. as an alternate, just completely ignore the concept, and I've been repeating this like 20 times. xDTHIS is exactly the reason why they shouldn't start a mep |:

If you don't put people in their place they are going to run amok fucking themselves and others over. They have no idea what they are doing and there is no way we can insta-teach them. So even trying to do so is just a waste of time. Not to mention Pendulum isn't something people would hand over to some new kid on the block. That shit aint SOAD or LP.
