Yeah I could, but I'm not gonna reupload ALL the tracks in wav. If you still want a Wav track I'll be happy to make you one.

They didn't lose their tracks because either
#1. Their track is still good now even with risen standards.
,#2. I know from personal experience that they've progressed enough to still be able to keep their track
Or #3. They've remade a beta or sent in a new beta that surpasses their old track

Not likely, I still have all of everyones old betas.

How can someone remake a track that's better than the track they've been working on in less than a day?

I remember last time we chatted on aim, you still liked my track and said nothing about how to improve it.

Well, if Hagaren is not going to rejoin, then I'm not gonna rejoin. I only joined because of him anyway. Thanks for the experience, though. I guess I'll just upload my track on the org as rejected or something.

If you were gonna remake your track anyway then I don't see why this is a problem for you.
And I'm just saying that's SOME of the reasons why they MIGHT have been able to keep their track, I've already mentioned this on the other thread.

It's mean, it's not fair, and I know I probably wasted a whole 2 weeks of all of your lives forever, but it just IS. MEPs fail all the time and so many people lose their tracks for a MEP that's never gonna happen, I know it's happened to me. My main purpose here isn't to please any of you, it's to make this project the best I can. I'm sick of arguing with you guys, You either try and rejoin or you don't. I'd be lying if I said I didn't care if you tried to take your track back, but it's just the way it is.

That's the thing. Those tracks were obviously not remade in one day. It means that either blaze kept close contact with them or they just kept going at their tracks themselves. Basically, we were pretty much blind sided by this because we thought our tracks were alright and weren't told otherwise at all.

Whatever though, I could sit around and make an effectsy track or something, but I dont understand "Not good enough" without any other type of feedback.

Blaze, you're my friend and all, but yea, I dont want to waste the effort to make something because I think that your way of coordinating this MEP is just way off. You're not going to get 'ZOMG! AMAZING' tracks for everything and you shouldn't expect that either. If something is well edited, you should accept it. People are going to have different styles that are going to cater to different audiences. The way one person's track is edited effects how the track after it is received. Sometimes a simple track will give the track after it more impact. As a coordinator, I think you took the wrong route in coordinating this and that's why I'm not going to remake my track or try out again. Sorry blaze.

Honestly, I can't be worried about making another track from scratch, as I have other tracks with looming deadlines. So yeah, I 'drop'. Good luck.

I had no problem with remaking it...if I was still in it. The problem I see is that when I can be remaking the track "better", as you say, someone could make something before me, you let them in and my efforts would be wasted anyway. However, if I was still in it, I could be making it better without worrying that someone might take it before I do.

It doesn't matter WHO takes it first, the best track wins.

That's the other thing, as LA mentioned. Everyone has different editing styles. Even if I were to try my hardest with my style, someone who knows masking or whatever will always be "better". This is the main reason LA took out the rule of challenging other people for the tracks in CascasaThon, because she knew it would be unfair and everyone has different ways of editing. Because someone "better" will always come along. If I were to edit the track and let's say...Koop or Chii came along and wanted to edit the same track, it's a no brainer who would get it.

My style consists straight and simple editing. I think what makes a good MEP is the different styles. If you want the same style for an MEP, just have one person make all the tracks.

Of course if kewp or decoy or niotex wanted a track that was already taken I would give it to them. Just because LittleAtari puts his friends before the MEP doesnt mean I will. MOST people contest their MEPs so that they get the best tracks.

I'm sick of aruing, it is how it is and I'm not changing my mind, you can say that putting friends before tracks is tge right thing to do all you want, but I think thats bullshit if you really want to make your mep the best you can =\

Do you know how many people don't like each other in CascadaThon? I don't really know myself :p but right now, me and LA as well as a few other members of the MEP are on the rocks, yet we keep going. There are so few friends in that MEP now it's not funny XD But in time, I think we'll look back and laugh. It's a frustrating thing to coordinate a MEP, much harder than I originally thought. Also, we don't let people into our MEP just because they are friends. We don't really ask for a beta to see who gets a track, the only thing we ask for is a sample of your video quality. Can you maintain it, or are you having problems. If they are minor we will still let you in and work with you on it.

Just remember, that you can't expect the tracks that come in to be all uber awesome. If you don't let anyone a part of your MEP for lackluster editing skills, then frankly, that's just taking the fun out of editing in a MEP. Pick out the best beta's submitted if that's what you wanna do, and work with those people to help improve them.
