lol I sent you a pm before reading this last page, I have an idea for your opening
involving some 3D stuff in ae and driling out the project logo from a metal object... but I haven't listened to the music yet, I'm one of those people who can't edit to stuff unless they like the music.
My brain is just working overtime at the moment I kep finding effects i wanna do but will not work in my videos... I think I put these 2 together after seeing an album cover
anyway the good thing i noticed was noticed no due date so I could look at it maybe in a few weeks.... shortening the intro would work well for the effect too (mean leass actual editing)
*edits* or if you want I can do the bar/logo thing and he can then edit the rest with anime o.O

Actually, the only thing related to an intro would be the TOOL logo, and some alternative introduction to the songs with some lyrics (but I don't know right now, how the font's gonna fit in...). I orientated on the first TOOL project - there is also no real introduction.Tsukin wrote:hmm, well, the first part of vicarious is intended for the opening, which i plan to also shorten, unless you have an idea for an introduction to the project in which case ill let you take it =)masterGT wrote:Heyyaaa!
Vicarious part 1 still free?
I have a cool idea, I think.
So I'm gonna take it with tha sweet Cossette, if ya let me!
But in the end I think Autraya's stuff with the logo out of metal will look much cooler => Do your Effects work
As for my editing: I have already about 10 sec. done and I will go on with it, just for fun. I want to see for myself how it will turn out and how I can realize it.
Probably it will NOT reach the standard for the intro part of the TOOL project, but for my standards it maybe turns out nice.
If I finish it I will send you a version of it, if you want (I have no thoughts of making it for the project now!, so Autraya can make her stuff for it)
Ps.: Although it would be nice, if you would pm me the .wav, please. (I have the CD, but ima too lazy to rip, cut and stuff....)
I wish you long Days and pleasant Nights!

Ok, so I think it's finally time to say that with as much as this project is going down hill, I'm going to have to hand this over to someone else, as it just doesn't look like I'll ever have any more time to dedicate to this, and with how long it has been since I've been serious about editing it looks like any new releases from me will either be rare or just never happen =/
So at this moment I would like for everyone to take a vote on who should be the next person to head and finally finish this project, and once that is decided I will send them all the finals I have received via aim (or I could upload them somewhere) and leave the rest up to them.

Hey Tsukin, that's sad to hear.
If the editors in this project agree, I could go ahead and take the mep over. I'm kinda used to take over mep's by now anyway (Soad2, Ill Niño...).
I know enough of the technical stuff and I would go and get this finished asap with a good result (most tracks are already finished anyway).
On top of that..I got a lot free time on my hands.

Wow, you are seriously trying to do too much. Run soad 2 and this THEN soad 3? You're having trouble with running soad 2 alone. :lKevmaster wrote:Hey Tsukin, that's sad to hear.

1st) I wont be running soad3, after what's been happening with soad2, there is no way in hell I'd give a third one a try. AND IF anything, I didn't plan to start it till some months after soad2 had been relased (which will probably take ten more years anyway looking at how its status is right now).SSJ3 Son Jp wrote:Wow, you are seriously trying to do too much. 2nd) The problem with SOAD2 isnt Me, the problem are the editors. I've been strict, I've been on peoples ass to finish their stuff, I've replaced them, I've done a hell of stuff to get it finished. Sorry, but If you try to make me look like a bad Coordinator I'm loosing my temper because I'm probably one of the best mep coordinators you can find :/
For the Tool mep, most tracks are already finished so it wont be much of a problem finding the right people to do this and after soad2 I am pretty sure who I can trust to do and finish a track and who not.
I am not begging to take this mep over, but I know I would be a good coordinator, if someone else takes this up who's REALLY capable of getting it finished AND who cares a lot about the mep, then of course there is no way I would deny him/her.
....
And right in this second I got a brilliant idea. What about Emong? He's probably gonna be a good coordinator, he loves tool and really wants to get this finished...Tsukin, you should discuss with him about this...hehe..and if he'd do a track on his own..that'd be even greater...

2nd) Alright dude, just don't start bitching when the same thing happens on this mep. I still say at least wait til soad 2 is complete rather than being frustrated at one mep and struggling to run another. Oh and no one is trying to make you look like a bad coordinator. If you're losing your temper because I'm stating you're doing too much then you sir have issues. And saying you're one of the best coordinator is abit cocky don't ya think? Especially for someone who's struggling over one mep. Again, I'm not saying you are a bad coordinator, I'm just saying you aren't one of the best I can find on the org. Sorry kev.

God man, you're pissing me off, srsly. I don't care about soad2 anymore, it'll be finished when its finished, if people don't care about it there is no reason for me to keep on struggeling with the mep, I've given my best to get it done, but if no one is interested in getting it done, then why should I care?
And no, I'm not cocky, I'm conscious. I can just barely think of any coordinator who's a good coordinator as I am.
Fast progress in the mep doesn't equal how good you are.
And waiting till soad2 gets finished, eh? Sorry, but I didn't plan to wait another 2 years.
Also, running 1 or 2 meps at the same time makes no difference to me.
