Hey guys...
A few members here were members of ayumix 2 and are well aware of the drama that went on. When it was released last night, while many enjoyed it, many criticized it as well, saying that the 1st was better then the 2nd. Now, after talking with "someone" (who will remain nameless due to request), i just need to clarify something.
Elysium is NOT Ayumix!
That was never my intention! Ayumix 2 is the sequel to a very popular mep, so there was lots of pressure on the members. You are not under any pressure here! All i want is for you guys to have fun with your tracks. Of course i dont want anything half-arsed, which is why i held auditions in the first place. There is a reason why all of you are in this, and its because i believe you will all make good tracks. I do NOT expect you to out-do yourself and create amazing, top-of-the-line pieces!
Around the second beta deadline i may make beta forums like how Deshi did, simply because its easy for it to be member-access only. If there is a track you dont like, or if theres something about any of the tracks that you think could be better, tell them. Many people in ayumix hesitated to post their honest comments on the forums, i dont want you guys to hesitate. While i dont want any flaming whatsoever, i want honesty. But take into consideration everyone here has their own editing styles, dont ask them to do the impossible.
If people start complaining about other members tracks without telling them how you feel, Elysium will be shut down permanently!
To sum it up, what im trying to say is that i want this mep to be a fun experience for everyone, free of drama. Drama isnt cool, so please dont create it, because this time there are consequences.
Anyways, first beta deadline is in 5 days~ just a heads up!
Keep editing you guys

bah, thats the problem with sequels, they are always judged by the one made before it and not by itself. Since the first one was so good the second one's expectations were set too high.
If somehow drama did find its way here, though i doubt it will from looking at the editor line up (Jubby will keep me in check ), i think it would be better just to boot the people causing it and not close the MEP all together especially farther down the road cause people will have worked hard on their tracks by then .
Just wanted to say that much.

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson
