All right, now that's excellent ^^

I love most of your rearrangement ideas. I felt I was smiling and laughing a lot more even knowing this stuff was coming, even with the clips that I didn't find as funny as some others. Very nice adjustments. Several of the 'amusing' ones were now surrounded by 'funny' ones as well. Thank you for repairing Hughes mouth flaps in 'destroy you' and I think it hits a lot stronger and a lot faster now without the other stuff personally. It's less distracting. Very nice. And your new AS bumpers are awesome ^^ I like how the first one made me go 'okay, yeah I'm watchi- OH LOL!' And the fact you put pedobear in there was perfect. I'm afraid for the con's speakers on that clip though... deep base is DEEP ^^ May wanna lower the whole clip volume a tad.

My clips: Thanks so much for letting the intel logo do the talking ^^ Two major things I'd like to beg you to do is break your rules for the Fish Tank clip and the Building clip. I believe they need test patterns badly to nail that final beat for the joke. I recognize they lead into bumpers, but I really think the impact to the jokes is more worth it than the consistency of the bumpers' transitions. This is of course because I know you don't want to move anything again  But PLEASE go for test patterns. Again they were designed for test pattern endings, and without them they just don't hit like I know they can. 'Fucking jump' had it before, and you saw how much more it impacted the viewer.

Kung Fu Panda logo looks excellent now, well done! I still think the white text could use removal here and there and all of it definitely needs a 2px black stroke around it, but the font is nice, even if it's slightly harder to read. I go for fading out of "16 Annie Awards" text at the guy in green (god I forgot his name... I fail) so that camera pervert girl's mouth can be seen clearly. Same for at the end, remove 'Check Local Listings' and lower 'coming soon' so she can be seen clearly. Lastly see if you can align the text for the actor names to one vertical axis so it's not jumping around as much. They don't need to be under the characters, people will get it just fine. Very close and stronger in general.

Demolition Man: Can't say I'll ever stop insisting those two don't belong together :| I wish more people gave critique so you'd see just how much it doesn't work. Sakuraslight requested text removed, so I dunno what else there is to say. I guess I can only hope people enjoy it as much as InspZenigata and you seem to. I'd even request the question be asked in that 'watch' thread what the majority thinks, since if I'm wrong I'll gladly accept it.

Big O Head On: Er... well, you only moved it one clip away from the other... I think it'd have been better further back than that. But now at least they're not next to one another I guess. They're still in the same 'commercial block' though.

Krvabo's clips: Much much stronger and smoother with the synced audio. Excellent.

Credits: Good choice letting the song continue behind the tags it sped things up nicely. Couple very minor typos or incorrect things I noticed:
-says "Bumpre 1"
-Fail Hard the audio should be "Anime Audio; South Park Movie" instead of Original Audio, and you may want to include 'Intel Logo' in footage
-For "Heero is Insane!" Could you change it to "An Heero"? ( :D ) and also the audio isn't from Metal Gear Solid, but Metal Gear Awesome 2
-And for Epic Ending it's Long-Haired "Hare" as in rabbit.

KRVABO: What do you think with Gunther? If you have the Azumanga footage already ready to edit, I can search tonight to find ones I think may be good choices and send the time and episode numbers off to you and you can do a quick edit insert, or would you like me to do it, or would you like to ditch the clip still? I'm open to whatever you'd like if you don't want to do it. I'll start looking at footage tonight anyway until you respond. This can easily be done in a couple hours.
InspZenigata wrote:2) Is it just me or has the quality of the first 20-30 seconds of "NOW That's what I call" getting worse and worse? Any way to fix that up? Like it was just a blur on my screen, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't my player. :|
One of my fears from the beginning... quality like that can be a joke-killer, so it makes me worried.

I used a trick to resize this from 500x500, and shopped the text in quickly. Sorry Deuce but you may have to rotoscope it quickly (won't take long, very simple movements). I dunno how to save the His or Her Circumstance footage, it's getting slaughtered. We seriously need to get ahold of Dezbo21 fast... the render isn't helping but the footage was low quality to begin with.

Couple more things that can be looked at: The red in the intro is very very intense, I'd tone it down a bit. It overshadows everything else. Keep in mind, red goes to the front, blue to the back, red will always appear in front of everything else. I'd choose a forest green instead if you must have a saturated color.

And see if you can toss a fade onto the text in the intro as well so it's more noticeable that it changes.

Last thing: It seems you cut off the "Haruhi Declares Baseball God's Gift To Man" portion so it randomly starts with TF2 Scout says "Play Ball" :D Try this instead since it seems to take up too much space:

HARUHI: "BASEBALL GOD'S GIFT TO MAN!"
Team Fortress Scout: "Play Ball!" --(using "Says" doesn't read correctly, so we'll just remove the verb)
First Closed Space Game Soon, If Life Continues ---(I was totally wrong, it's 'closed' space, not 'negative' so this change is important for the reference)

Also the One Piece one says "11:pm", so just a small typo.

No Funimation executions? ^^ I liked that one  Actually change it to 4Kids, that'll be better directed to the ones who deserve it.

Again, excellent work, it's much stronger overall!

Y'all got lucky I sent Otakon the mp4 instead of the mpeg2 file.

Test patterns, check. Typos, check.

The thing at the beginning with the baseball announcement was too long and I couldn't rephrase it to shorten it enough to make it all fit into the little window at the bottom. I had to cut something out, so it was Haruhi since the focus seemed to be Team Fortress (unless there's a Haruhi in the game - never played it).

But when the mpeg2 is done rendering, I'll post the link here so you can all see something not messed around by mp4. Gawd, I hope this is the last time I have to do this...

I've been off for a bit, I'll watch it now.

Thanks for wanting to help with the clip, but dunno if Deuce wants to go through more edits :P
I've got most of the source files, not the project though. That can be easily fixed.
I like your ideas though, making it more random.

I'm not sure yet, sometimes it's better to let things be the way they are. The video can't be swapped after this encode of Deuce, and editting it after the convention is just going to complicate things. I think this should be the 'final' so we can start working on the fourth installment.

If we're going to do themes on that one, I've got one or two epic's in my mind.

Thanks for adding the test patterns! Did you have the test pattern cut off the extra sound during Fish Tank like I mentioned a couple times earlier?

Sorry, the Haruhi text was necessary to make the joke work. I guess I should have specified, but I thought the Haruhi connection was obvious. My bad, sorry. Closed Space and Haruhi are the anime references, the TF2 scout was for the randomness (and for the TF2 fans and cosplayers) because he fights with a bat and a lot of his emotes and taunts are about baseball in an awesome voice :D Did the new one fit in the space? It's worth removing if the Haruhi stuff doesn't end up fitting. The text could be shrunk .5 or 1 and it should fit in the new form.

Lastly, Deuce, are you still open to a quick shift in footage for Gunther if Krvabo and/or I can cut something together really quickly before the end of the weekend? I've searched through the first DVD and found some decent stuff, but I believe there's better later on. If Krvabo has the footage ready, then it'll probably be pretty quick, but I leave the decision up to you two. I can still do something quick for experimental purposes if for no other reason.

Krvabo: Got a few ideas for ya. Figured first DVD had enough halfway decent footage to pull this off without going too far into it. Then realized there was already one in the section you used ^^

Check these and see what you think:
Ep 1: 13:56, 14:13, 14:30-14:36 (would fit whole line), 15:40-15:45 (Would fit whole line too)
Ep 2: 4:44

After seeing 4:44 in Ep 2 I realized that was plenty. Here's what I would do personally, lemme know what you think.
Ep1: 14:13 "I guess what I'm tryin' to say is..." since she's addressing the class proudly.
Ep2: 4:44 "I'm German..." with her cradling the book, and she's suddenly shifted emotion. Then have the Yomi and Chiyo slide in, and still-frame it (before they talk) very briefly for the slightest of reaction shots. I know this actually happens AFTER they were slapped, but in this case this seems to work.

Then it cuts to what you have currently with maybe speeding up her windup so she RUSHES at them instead of the real speed of the footage.
Some quick lip-syncing (maybe not, considering it may line up well) and it's done.

I'd have to... *ahem* acquire the episodes (already own DVDs, but dunno how to change vobs to AVI, AMVApp doesn't like me doing that) but I can do so very quickly and do this very fast in After Effects if you'd like. Again, it's up to both of you, so let me know. To err on the side of caution, I'll start the 'acquisition' now.

Well you are free to try of course but seeing as it wouldnt be my clip anymore, credits should go to you.
I dont think that Deuce will do another swap/edit seeing as this is going on for so long now.

I dont really want to edit anything right now seeing as its blazingly hot here in The Netherlands and it's been like this for over a week now. So you are free to try, from my point I guess. There's prolly some dvd-rips that you could download (mkv) and extract the video using apps like mkvextract(gui) to extract the videostream and then encode it using SUPER (if your editing app doesn't allow mkv).

If you really feel that way, I'm sorry. I made a quick test, but I'll let it go with that then if you really feel like I'm stealing your thunder or something.

I guess at the very least you can tell me if you think it may have helped or not.

Sorry it's hot there, I know the feeling well. Can you beat Arizona's 110 degrees F? ^^

The new test patterns help a lot I think. Thanks so much, Deuce. Please don't hate me, but you missed the Haruhi thing in the intro :( It still makes no sense... I'm sorry. If the re-written one I did above doesn't work, then feel free to remove it, but right now it makes no sense. Negative Space should be Closed Space (which was my mistake, I apologize) and the first Haruhi line needs to be there for it to make any sense.

Also, it looks like you have to re-render it anyway. It's crushed, it looks like you accidentally did 640x480 instead of 720x480 -_-

Sorry, Deuce, it's nearly over!
