I can supply an FTP with plenty of bandwidth. It can also be used to judge the videos, however that will end up being done. Skylink: if you want to get in touch with me, IM is probably the best way. I'll also be hangin out in #amv, so pm or something. Let me know, and I can set up an account to be ready for the timeframe we're looking at here.

I vote for huffyuv/lagarlith and pcm/uncomp. audio as the codec format...shouldn't be too hueg like xbox. Maybe what we could do is have everyone submit the videos for judging in xvid/divx/mp3/ogg so that they can all be viewed really fast, and then when the contest is over the big versions could be submitted to whoever is editing a MEP together out of this? Just a few ideas.

Anyway, I'm not much of a forum goon, so I'm retreating back to #amv now =)

Having seen several of the enteries for this I can say without a hint of bragging, this will be the single greatest thing ever to be released upon mankind, sliced bread? HA! nothing comapred to this MEP, the wheel? mathematics, nothing but toenail clippings found in the sink of father time.
