Oh, please tell me if you change your mind! It was one of your AMV's that gave me the inspiration for this project. The Bourne Personality would still be just an untouched live-action script burning a hole in my mind if I hadn't seen The Prescott Affair. It would be really cool if you wanted to do anything for Bourne Personality, big or small.Voices_Of_Ryan wrote:I'd like to be in this : O!
But alas i'm too busy.. Love to see it though : O!
AMV_4000, I'd love to have another editor. I'd like to see some of your previous work first, though. Lip syncing will be very important for this AMV. If you haven't done lip syncing before, you can show me some of the AMVs you have done and I can send you an audio clip or two for you to take a shot at lip syncing. I think I might have even seen a lip syncing guide on here somewhere... If I like your lip syncing, then you can pick a scene to edit once I have the audio track finished and have divided it into scenes.

Anyway, lip synching isn't that hard to learn. In fact I think it's the easiest part of editing. It's just time consuming.
Aside from that, I have two awesome things to pitch to this porject that may end up being essential.
The first is lip synching software (Metro's used it, that's how I learned about it. I still go through fbf).

The second is vector keying software. Not chroma keying, vector keying. Check it out, it's the most awesome shit I've ever seen. I haven't downloaded the trial yet, but when I do, I'm going to have fun with it. It had me sold at the water bit. (Watch the video):

Apparently Serious Magic was bought out by Adobe recently or something. I found this on their site and wondered what it was.... Glad I did. Can't wait to try it for myself. =)

I'll check those out; they definitely sound useful. Just out of curiosity, have you tried any open source editing software like LiVES or Jahshaka? Are they even worth downloading?
Wow, you weren't kidding about 4000, that's---a lot of videos.
EDIT
AMV_4000, don't even bother posting links. I watched a couple of your numerous videos. I'm sure you'll do an excellent job. I'll need to talk with you about what scenes you use once the project gets to that point, though. I'll probably be using some scenes from the movie as well and I don't want to overuse/reuse the same scenes. If you need a particular scene from the movie, I've got some of the episodes from the series, so just I'll find something from there to use.

:-p no i havent used either of those, but i would be willing to try them out. I have used WMM 1 before.. hell im editing a video in it for awa this year. I will try to do as good of a job as you want, but you'll have to understand, i have slowed down my editing and i have a really big video for VG4 that i have to finish, but i will help out in any way you need/want me to. As for the footage, i gotta talk to chaos projects and toothpickvic cause i think they may have the cowboy bebop series... and that might help the cause. Keep in touch, send me some files and tell me the direction you want me to go with them and i'll do my best.electiveinsanity wrote:I'll check those out; they definitely sound useful. The biggest thing I can do to help is say these little things that helped me -electiveinsanity wrote:Oh, please tell me if you change your mind! 1. Listen to Scintilla about audio problems. Seriously he's the only reason the projects ever got done.
2. Find yourself a Dedicated person or two to test the trailer with (if you pass it from one person to another it takes away the surpise when it's out and most often they won't know the improvments you've made since the last [beta] anyway) it helps like hell.
3. Let your friends have parts, even if it does'nt make sense all the time in that specific part or they're only home once a week.. You'll regret it if you don't (Otohiko, Peter [essex]) and you'll love the project that much more if you do (Wendy, Peter [New jersey] and a long list of others).
But most of all,
Enjoy your project and I'm sure it'll be great!
