But it is originated after Japanese animation.
You're just one of those steryotypical people that think they're too good for "American Animation."

You HAVE noticed that you're in an anime forum, right? Not an 'Avatar' or 'American Animation' forum. Even if it is 'anime-like' it is not anime. your Avatar video will eventually get deleted for being non-anime. Heads-up.

Like Kris said, it's the rules. Sorry that you get so defensive over a show.

I'd watch going around insulting people over 'avatar' on this forum before reading org rules if I were you.
srsly.

Just to put more wood in the fire, we are all too good for American animation. Who do I include in "we all"? Every single non-virotic life form ever born after the Big Bang, on this or any other planet in the known and unknown universe.

Someone's never seen Animaniacs.

Or are you making a reference to the fact that many "American animations" are actually mostly created in Korea/other country? Because quite a few use them for tweening and sometimes even the full animation.

I used to watch Animaniacs, f'kin funny.
Oh yeah, don't forget Aqua Teen Hunger Force, or the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, or Ren and Stimpy. I don't much like american toons much, but there are some good ones out there. Disney scares me sometimes though... I'm playing Kingdom Hearts 2 and still having a hard time beliving I'm playing a game that has Donald Duck and Goofy.

I believe it's more that American shows that shamelessly ride anime's coattails aren't worth watching.

On a side note, I'd love to see SWAT Kats return to syndication, myself.

Animaniacs were funny. I used to have an Animaniacs "Where's Waldo"-style figure book.

I think we can all agree that Animaniacs was the epitome of American animation.

AMV Hell however, is for anime only, as can be clearly seen by expanding the title like so:

AMV Hell --> Anime Music Video Hell

Ya'll are animation racists, arent'cha?
(Er, most of ya'll.)

Just because the animation is modeled after anime, you can't cast it off as NOT being anime. It's not TECHNICAL anime, but it's a damn good attempt.
If you hate American animation so much, then why do you like anime? A lot of animes are based off of western culture.

(That would be like me hating American music just because I love Dir en Grey.)

((How very close minded...))

Either way, I'm making a small segment and submitting it regardless of what anyone says to me. (Except the Mods and the actual organizer of the project. =3)
and then the guacamole EXPLODED!

Actually, you CAN cast it off as not being anime because american animation isn't anime. Anime is defined as a certain style of Japanese animation. It's not just a personal opinion. It's site rules.
