Yaoi Dream Puppets MEP (Released...you read right, RELEASED)

I'd be interested in trying a Wolf's Rain ToboexTsume part.

But since I've dropped out of like every MEP I joined in the last years this would really just be a try and I can't at all promise that I'd get something done. So if you still have some room you might as well write me down for still testing out if the idea would work out.

As for a song there are currently too many I can think of that would work so I'll have to test them first and see how they feel while editing.

U_Queen I'd like to request that in the interest of maintaining a decent level of visual quality that you instigate the following rules (it's cool if you don't, this is just a suggestion).

1.) No Xvid, Huffyuv/lagarith only
2.) all footage must be de-interlaced
3.) All beta's must be passed through you for approval so that you don't get some pieces of crap that will really drag the MEP down (No offence meant guys but I've seen some pretty ugly MEPs and it would be good for all concerned if that didn't happen and we can stop it here and now with a few guidelines)
4.) Can we reserve a spot for Katie? (not sure how this effects visual quality but meh!)
5.) No subtitles, buy the dvd's you slackers!! (unless it's not out yet but still no subtittles!)
6.) If you are using PAL (like me) resize to NTSC as well don't just change the fps

I'm available to assist with putting all the bits together if you end up with too many pieces. Or to do a .264 encode (now that Infinity squared has kindly helped me figure it all out, and it's so freakin' simple I can't believe I didn't know how sooner!)

Well, in that case I think I should watch the beta's first and decide which one fits best for intro but if savvy_style doesn't bother, your idea sounds more like an intro.

I really didn't understand what's your main idea for your vid. If your planning to make a kind of love triangle with Ranma-chan, Ranma-kun and Ryoga; just remember the video is about yaoi and the pairing you chose is Ranma (boy) and Ryoga.

I want to thank you for all the support you have given to me. I'll take your advices. I've seen the work of all who are working in this project and I'm sure they won't take offence about point 3. Since I didn't have idea of who would be interested in this project I just took some basic rules but I see most of you are experts and will understand if I add your points in the first post.

It's basically going to be an S&M comedy vid. Here's the lyrics so you can see what I'm talking about. Basically, I have them trying to completely dominate and break down the other, forcing them to be theirs. Including their alter-egos, which I kinda have representing a piece of their innocence. Though the main appearence of Girl Type Ranma or P-chan would show up during the "Lies, Lies, Lies" part. Since we all know that innocence is all a lie.

So no, girl Ranma would not be like a seperate character. She would just be used as an extension of Ranma. (As would P-chan.)

Actually now that I think of it if there are any other fangirl wannabees (who are really just gender confused fanboys) that spam this thread should also have to beta as well *it's about this point in time Autraya looks nervously in kevmasterflashdudes direction* serves em right!
