Yeah, that intro is really kicking me in the balls. I'm not satisfied with either version. Somewhere in the show are the right scenes to use for it but I haven't found them yet. As for :39 the intent is to sync to the drums but it needs work. Masking work. Lots of it. I'll tackle that when I'm up to it. Any slow parts are definitely going to be worked on. Until it's in the MEP every part of this video is subject to change, whether it be scene selection or moving a cross fade by one or two frames. Frankly, I'm surprised no one's mentioned that awful sync on the "Choose to just ignore" echo.

Btw, why not delete the old betas? I'm probably gonna update mine 2 or 3 (or 5 or 6) more times before I'm done and if everyone does that it will be confusing.

NS wrote:Just to let you know, I'm not putting off making a beta for you... ok well I kinda am. I am trying to focus all my editing juices on my personal project for now...seeing as how I haven't released anything for 4 years and this last month I've been editing the hell out of it I wanna keep that momentum going on one project. I will show you a beta soon enough when I end up editing to the song randomly one day, if you do wanna drop me because you think I may suck or whatever, that's fine...well it's not because I want, but do what you want. Just trying to keep you up to speed on my situation.
Thanks for letting me know. I know what you mean. For now I'll keep things the way they are. Depending on how long until I see a beta from you, things may change, but I'll get in contact with you well ahead of that point to re-check.

I always thought that track would go well with Ikkitousen personally but that's just me
We all see different things for each song. I would have never seen Soul Eater to this but it works if done right. I could never see Ikkitousen to that track though... lol

It's not confusing if everyone follows the number order. I want online access to people's previous betas so I can look back and see how things have changed just in case I'm not at home where I'm keeping all of the files.

Is there anyway you can tone down the screech in my audio @ 0:02? Every time I hear that with the music up loud while reviewing my track it gets more and more annoying. It's not really terrible unless your listening to it with headphones i guess but still... Thought it might be from you increasing the audio's db's (or using premieres "auto leveling") or something else. If it's not fixable then don't worry about it but it still bugs me. The whole rest of my track sounds fine cept that small screech, makes me think it was a bad rip or something which is a rare case but still possible.

I'm not trying to subdue your artistic wisdom, but I really don't see that combination working well at all. If you think it will work go for it, but I don't see it happening.
This is the second time i've questioned someone source usage in this thread

No, ONLY TRIGUN... or others. You can't use a bluesy, down to earth feeling anime like Afro samurai with this upbeat pop punk music, it doesn't work. You gotta look beyond the scenes you'll be using when deciding if a song is right for a certain source brah.

Stop being so bossy, let him try. We all see things differently.

PS. Hagarens track is lookin pretty good and I didn't think that source combo would fit either but he's using some pretty meaningful scenes.
