Code: okay, thanks :3 :P

Tritio: I don't know xD but why is it so hard to make nice flashes? :P you don't have to use AE to make flashes :P maybe you overcomplicate it?

MystykAMV wrote:Hitori: I think you should use different effects :P you use the flash and zoom too many times, and it doesn't look nice like this, and I think that many of the flashes are unnecessary, you could leave them out (or if you leave in some flashes then reduce them), I also think that you should put on some zoom on the clips, it's would be better if we saw the characters moving (or at least the camera) and you didn't just hit the beats with the flashes. 0:21 looks strange, there are too many beats? or just the clip is like that? and at the end maybe you could use other scenes? because it's not so clear what's happening (well I know cuz I have seen the anime), but it's just a suggestion :P
I'll start from scratch again... Scraping the flash/beat zoom idea. 0:21 looks strange? Same clip that has always been there, just added the flash/beat zoom. Were the other scenes at the end from the last beta ok? I'll switch back to it then. |:>

I think you may have downloaded it incomplete. I usually download it again to check for any issues if I uploaded it wrong & it was fine. Mystyk had an issue with my final for track 10 because it wasn't downloaded fully. Sorry about the flashes being too bright. :pizza:

Hitori: lol they were okay, the scenes in the new one were okay too xD they are kinda similar, we can't really see what's happening, and weapons are not really.....how to say.....for children :P oh well

Tritio: okay, what do you mean by that? I hope you're not experimenting in your track >.< I mean the flashes :P make them look nice (they are nice at the beginning)

Just a heads up. After working with the pure beat sync of the footage, I'm thinking Bakemongatari might not be an appropriate fit. Everything is so static in the anime that the sudden scene changes [even after adding a little shaking/movement] is just boring and it's bothering me seriously.

I may change this to the Movie of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, depending on how things work out. It's got a much more "active" atmosphere, I think it might really work out better. Is this acceptable to you? [The quality is high, so no worries on that aspect].

Code: it's totally okay, I'm happy you'll use Tsubasa Chronicles! :3 Can't wait to see it! :awesome: I'm not a big fan of bakemonogatari anyway xD :P and please check the first post to see if that's the title of the anime you're using :P

Sorry, I was mistaken. THe one I'm using is the OVA instead of the movie. It's called Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations

It looked like you were actually syncing to the voice instead of the beat on your track. I thought it worked well but I haven't listened to your track, if there was a part where the pace and beat picks up then syncing to the voice in the begining of the track to set the mood and what not works really well. When the track picks up go full fledge beat sync. That's pretty much what I did.

If your track doesn't have a part where it picks up then I'm not sure what to say. I liked the scene choices and the sync but keeping it slow like that all through the whole track would probably not work out too well even if there is no spot that the music picks up.

Thought what you had fit pretty well, but if your willing to try it with another source go for it. Could turn out better aynway.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

You know I didn't notice this at first but now that you mention it, I can see what Mystyk meant. You could easily adjust this by just moving your anchors around(for the mask) so they cover the mouth properly. But I think the flashes are okay. Though I am still wondering what you were synching at 0:11 with the 3 girl's eyes.....

Yeah I'm getting that 49 minutes thing too, the file plays fine though but lighten up on the flashes and I don't think the zoom beats are necessary since it's like there's too much going on for the eye to see properly. The rest of it is pretty neat though but the scene at 0:18ish with her slashing at the monster is a bit bloody and really sticks out from the rest of your scenes.

When I watch this I can't help but compare it with your CascadaThon2 track which was way better in my opinion. I think it's wise to change sources. XD

Well, it's their weapon of choice as a magical girl. :awesome:

That's odd with the 49 minute thing... One having a problem, redownload it again, two having a problem... O_o?
Lighten up the flashes? It's already pretty light as it is. Did you mean lower the opacity or change the color value from white to an off white? |:>
Major spoiler if you haven't seen Madoka, so don't read it and get pissed at me. :uhoh:
Spoiler :
The section from 00:15 to 00:18 is mostly about the characters as they were and what happens to them.
00:15 Sayaka is sleepy/cheerful and then gets killed with her head being bitten off.
00:16 Kyubey is alive and then dies. There's more to it than that though.
00:16-00:17 Kyoko sits there and then she sacrifices herself to kill witch Sayaka.
00:17-00:18 Sayaka is cheerful and teases Madoka and then she later snaps fighting a witch.
Then from 00:18-00:20 is an alternate timeline where they're killing each other off after fighting and killing witch Sayaka. They're wondering why they become magical girls only to become the witches they fight in the end.

I guess I can switch up that whole segment with the relationship between Madoka and Homura as flashbacks of the two of them from the different timelines. It'll help keep my track consistent.
