I know you didn't like the idea the last time but lets face it, the majority of ppl on the org are lazy unless you enforce a deadline. If you don't enforce some kind of deadline you will end up with a thread length of gateway and its not fair to the people that finished and met your other deadlines.
End result, to avoid stress on yourself and alleviate the fairness of the people that finished. You should set a deadline for tracks and compose from what you receive. I know you didn't want to but it just makes things overall easier. I'm not the MEP leader though so I can only give advice. If your life has been more stressful as of late theres no reason to make it more stressful with this.
Either way it has bonuses. The MEP will be shorter and less in size. You don't have to worry about drops, badgering for betas etc... The only REAL problem will be the remixing. But thats easily fixable as well. Just tell everyone to edit / realigne their tracks to their original audio which isn't all that hard really if they compare the track audio they dl'd and the original audio on the timeline.
Well anyways just trying to help since you are having some hardships.

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Yeah I'm gonna have to agree with this. If you don't receive another beta from me over the next 2 weeks then it's a good sign I probably won't finish my track, so if that happens feel free to count me as dropped.Eva-Fan wrote:Logic

Re: Mellow project [I lost the count of the drops!]
Hah, you see, I am not having hardships with this project.
I am having more troubles with my life.
But no-one cares anyway. And the same - I don't care about this project being slow. If it gets done this year, which it should. I said I won't force a time for betas, so I won't. it's the editors' own responsibility - you saw how they take it. The fact that I have three losslesses of good - awesome quality speaks for itself. I believe that it can be done.
kewp - have you done something over that weekend?
Aggressor - you think it's lossless-able, or think you could use some more improvement?
Also - if in a month nobody takes the free tracks, I'll skip to the full betas and finish the free tracks myself, with help of some people (I know some people wanted some tracks but couldn't do them since I enforced the "1 person - 1 track" rule)
Nya-chan, signing off~

Re: Mellow project [I lost the count of the drops!]
Nya-chan, I'm actually afraid to make it worse by trying to make it better at this point (I'm working on action vid now and the nex one will be upbeat). Let me show you the latest lossy version and then tell me if it needs working on.

Sounds fine with me, I'll get better view of the two fixes you showed me alone. If it's fine, I'll ask for lossless, if not, I'll tell you in what and you'll get me lossless directly, I think that your piece is in practically done version and I trust you enough to believe your fixes without seeing them ;DAggressor wrote:Nya-chan, I'm actually afraid to make it worse by trying to make it better at this point (I'm working on action vid now and the nex one will be upbeat). 11th may is a deadline for submitting betas. If you can't submit the beta till then, I'll do those tracks myself with the help of interested (trustworthy) parties~
(including Oto, iirc your free time comes before this deadline - and it's not much work to create short beta ^^ - if I am wrong about the timing, notice me in PM and I'll fix it)
