Cardoid Beta Review:

I'm not trying to be mean by saying this or anything, but it just looks like a bunch of random scenes. With almost no editing. The scenes ran on rather long, not to mention I saw hide nor hair of any kind of beat sync, lyrical sync. What was being said in the song and what was going on on the screen just really confused me. It just didn't match.

Granted, I love Kanon '06 and I think the anime would be an absolute perfect fit to the song. It just needs some more work put in. Something with relevance to the song. Keep in mind that you are editing the end of what was considered the BEST track in the first CascadaThon, so people will be looking for a solid connection between the track before yours AND yours.

I'm not trying to be mean, cynical or rude. I'm just giving some input. I'm not Godix, as I can't be awesomely blunt with people. It makes me feel bad. *Hugs*

I say keep using the anime you are using for the track. It's a wonderful choice. Just some better scene selection and faster clips and more emotion. Try going for something that revolves around 2 characters or maybe 3 and try to weeve a story out of it. Remember, you have to follow the theme of the MEP and I honestly saw no theme. Maybe work some timely effects in to give it that extra oomph. But don't overdo it.

If you haven't seen the first Cascadathon, I recommend you do so. Even if it is just to watch the track that you are editing. It might help and who knows, you might get an amazing idea from it.

All in all, I just recommend some beat sync, some lyrical sync, faster scenes, shorter cuts, relevant scenes and some good effects to oomph it up if you can find ones that look good AND BELONG.

I honestly think it's a great start. Mine was sort of random to begin with so I kind of see your style of editing. I think you need to tweak some of the scenes and some were just WAY to cute
