Flow:

Video makes senses until this moment. The scene selection goes very well through the betas and goes according to the music. Nothing more to add exceptiong for the transitions:
Spoiler :
1) Mystyk - Aimo

I believe here we have to do something. Crossfade is not appropiate according to the first scene of Aimo, still Mystyk has to do something for the final scenes of her beta. Fades aren't also appropiate here, so an option is to create the transition using scenes from both animes, or a mask transition

2) Aimo - Riccardo

Ironically, the crossfade seems appropiate here. Flash or fades doesn't make sense here, and making a transition is not required. The illuminations between Aimo's part and Riccardo's part are appropiate, so the crossfade seems ok even when first scene of Riccardo's moves so fast

3) Riccardo - EvaFan

Hmm, considering first scene of Eva's and final from Riccardo, this might be a troublesome moment for transition. Crossfade might not help nor fades or flash

4) EvaFan - Tritio

Well we have to wait until a new transition is made, but seems to work the idea of zoom out

5) Tritio - Code

Here the only possible option is Crossfade, in Tritio's part, final scene moves to the sky and first scene of Code is quiet, so a little adjusment of the crossfade might seemed to work.

Note: Code, if you're reading this, try to adjust the brightness of the first seconds so that it can really give an idea that the video moved from night to day

6) Code - FadingSundown

Ok this will be another moment a new transition will be required. Fading, if you're reading, please in the beginning of your part try to beat all the synchs in the beginning, it doesn't matter if you miss somes during the beta but the beginning is crucial according to the way Code ends his part, my man, that's the reason I told you that the final part of your beta should be intense, but that was because I didn't know the beginning of Fading's part included that intensity in the audio. Transition according to the audio, should be more like 2-3 seconds (2:59-3:01)

7) Fading - Hitori

Crossfades seems appropiate, it actually fusions perfectly between final and beginning. Nothing to add here

8) Hitori - Melyora

Ok, crossfade seems not work here. But by judging the first scene of Melyora, she seems like she's watching to a distant point, perhaps you guys should look whether if there's a scene where the girl in Melyora's part is really looking something, like a Tv or something that gives that impression. I believe is the best according to the final scene of Hitori's part

9) Melyora - Hitori

Again, crossfade doesn't work here, but a good option might be using a blur-right or left transition, for some reason that might help here, I dunno why but I got that impression

10) Hitori - ibabrak

And ironically, the crossfade seems appropiate here, and it doesn't matter if it's short, it's good this way, cause the way ibabrak's part begins doesn't require a long transition

btw, excellent final scene for your part ibabrak
Ok, these are some suggestions for the MEP, it's up to the members if they want to keep them in mind :3
Oh man, I had some ideas that I sent to Mystyk in a PM. Well, here's the copy pasta from it with some minor edits from the original.
Spoiler :
Track 1-2: Moon transition[zoom to moon light] to blade shine
Track 2-3: Butterfly flying over cellphone screen image changing to flying over ground
Track 3-4: Change background of clouds to the stars of the next track/fade character
Track 4-5: Just what I was thinking for that part. Going from last track to the tv/computer screen
Track 5-6: Having sakura flower pedals falling over the end of track 5 to emulate the beginning of track 6
Track 6-7: Not enough information because there is no extra footage at the beginning of 7. I like the blood drip at the end of track 6
Track 7-8: Remove the background film and keep the rain drops/yelling/crying girl. I'm thinking of keeping the beginning clips of track 8 to work with the ending of track 7.
Track 8-9: I'll think of something to do here.
Track 9-10: Not sure what to do there. Maybe an overlay of the guy quick fade in from track 10 and the background cross fading from the end of track 9 to the beginning of track 10.
Track 10-11: Maybe a quick brightness/contrast fade to white to lead to track 11.
I don't mind helping out with transitions. Just need the first and last 5 seconds of video from each track. Preferably in lagarith or huffyuv.
Also, track 8 is getting redone. I have a better idea of what to do after seeing the full MEP beta. |:>

hey, I like those ideas

but didn't know you also had the ideas, but let's wait until Mystyk says something about the transitions. Transitions that can be made in this moment are the ones between finals

Hitori, I love the new beta. :) I really love the movement it has in the beginning and then it evolving with the interesting wipes and changing scene movement.

@mysty: Other than the small story confusion that the others mentioned, I really liked the track as a whole.

EDIT:

Oh, and I finally finished up watching everything else. I do agree with transitionary comments mentioned. But other than that, it's looking really good thus far.

Holy crap Evafan, I loved your track. My first time seeing it, and loved it. <3

I'll make sure and lighten up the first bit of my footage Tritio. ;)

Speaking of which, I REALLy need to snag this album sometime. Never heard groove coverage until now, and now I want ALL the covers! XD

EDIT:

Oh, and PLEASE tell me we're picking a different font for the credits? :uhoh:

Sorry, but I think I'm going to stay with my previous version (KimiKiss), I think ti fits better, and EvaFan also likes it better, and I think it IS better than this one >.< I don't know about the transition since my part would be just okay with fading it black, but AimoAio's first scene is not good for masking anyway, so I don't know.
Hitori wrote: Track 2-3: Butterfly flying over cellphone screen image changing to flying over ground
sorry, but I think a simple crossfade is enough there D: masking the butterfly might just make it worse
Hitori wrote: Track 3-4: Change background of clouds to the stars of the next track/fade character
now that would be a good idea, but riccardocasu's part ends with a flash (so it's not me putting that flash, but the end of his part is like that) so it wouldn't look nice if I masked her, maybe we can ask him not to put in the flash, but there's a chane that it is like that in the anime so in the end the transition might just be a flash
Hitori wrote: Track 5-6: Having sakura flower pedals falling over the end of track 5 to emulate the beginning of track 6
and from where should I get petals? xD if Code can get a scene from the anime with ONLY petals I would mask it, but even if I made one with AE it would look unnatural
Hitori wrote: Track 7-8: Remove the background film and keep the rain drops/yelling/crying girl. I'm thinking of keeping the beginning clips of track 8 to work with the ending of track 7.
again....you know what the problem is, it is not me masking that, it would be easy to do for FadignSundown though, you would jsut have to send the first scene of your part :P
Hitori wrote: Track 9-10: Not sure what to do there. Maybe an overlay of the guy quick fade in from track 10 and the background cross fading from the end of track 9 to the beginning of track 10.
the best would be if MelyoraMel left me a scene that I can mask, it would look okay then :P

well thanks for the help and suggestions anyway xD

Tritio:
Melyora - Hitori - actually that's a good idea, a blur might be good for transition

Code:
I'm glad you like Groove Coverage :awesome:
also, ask ibabrak about that xD since he's making the credits :P

EDIT:
Code:
0:25 - isn't that flash a bit too early?
0:19 - could you remove that flash? I think it's not necessary >.<
0:11 - she is still too bright, or she's like that in the anime? >.<

otherwise it's ready for final soon :P

Hitori:
I think there are too many zooms :P so the problem is that it's still monotonous >.< sorry, you just keep zooming one from the left and once from the right, and they're a bit too fast, maybe...why don't you try pushing one of the clips to the left meanwhile getting a clip from the right, I hope you understand me >.< or zooms from the eye or anything, just have some different ideas :P
0:17 - that scene looks weird, it's too grey O_O
from about 0:20 you could remove that thing that goes through the screen, cuz she sings "whoaoa" so that's kinda a new part in the music? >.<

I'll make sure and reduce the brightness on Sakura. I over-killed a little on the filter trying to make it more "flashbacky". XD

Oh, and I'll take out/alter the two flashes as requested. :)

Hitori: I hope you read the beta testing part xD and it would be a little trouble since I would have to save lots of stuff from the MEP in lagartih and then upload them, and then you upload them also separatly, so don't worry, I'll work it out somehow, and also the awesome participants of the MEP :P

Code:
you don't need to remove the second flash, just maybe put it later? but if removing it make it look better then okay :P

Now question is: you don't want to overdo for the transitions do you, Mystyk?

Tritio: I don't know how woudl I overdo it O_O what do you mean by that? just because not every transition will be a mask it doesn't mean it will be ugly....-.-" and as I wrote above there are some issues, even if it's me who has to do the transition I would still need the participants to give me scenes that I can mask D: (if it's about a mask), but really, sometimes just a flash or crossfade is enough, we don't have to do difficult ones if simple ones look good as well >.<

I was going to say... but:

"sometimes just a flash or crossfade is enough, we don't have to do difficult ones if simple ones look good as well"

That was exactly what I was going to say D:
