Lol, theres plenty of websites you can put it in. But this way it's more handy for coordinators so they have all the finals in one place. And if theyre connection breaks, instead of starting over, it resumes. So like yeah.
And LA the password changed so you'll need to find me on msn for it.

Re: CascadaThon (Updates on Page 33)
I dont quite understand the last part about non OS HDD.sakuraslight wrote:I would have to say that LA
DROP
Track 3
You seem to busy and with all thies computer problems if it happens agine you are going to have 2 things that need finishing instead of one.
I say Stick with the Opening an make the intro amaizing and pass on track 3
(somthing to keep in mind keep all Vido editing data, Video editor saves the program that its being made wwith on a seprate Non OS HDD this helps alot if you have crashes)
I guess I should mention that my OS X is completely stable. It's what I edited Come Alive in. If you still feel that I should drop. I'll mark you down for me dropping.
Alright, another thing is that since the MEP is now divided, we'll be receiving half the finals at a time, so I think we should be ok.Vax wrote:Since the ending is nearing by LA, the server is back but It'd be cool it you used if only for finals.
Also what's your vote on me having track 3 or not.
You're not the first one to bring this up so I'll think about it. The beta deadline we're setting may still allow for the masking. I'll look into alternatives or try to set up my scenes to minimize masking.Vivaldi wrote:You may want to get an idea with less masking though.

Re: CascadaThon
This is a big problem for me. Every time I try to use Huffy, my computer freezes for a decent chunk of time because I opened the containing folder >_> And then, you know, it doesn't work anyway. I really don't want to have to try again, I'm sorry.LittleAtari wrote:OS X does not accept Lagarith. If this is a problem for anyone, please let me know as soon as possible. I still have access to windows computers, but it would be very hard on me to re-encode all lagarith AVIs to Huffy.
And LA, I'm not allowing any more drops in this MEP, so you're keeping your track. )<

Then you can submit a lagarith file.Hagaren Viper wrote:This is a big problem for me. Huffy does that with you...
I have to check something.
EDIT: so umm. April fools?
Turns out when I was pre-rendering some files in vegas, I had lagarith set to use Multi-threading. Multi-threading crashes my computer. I disabled multi-threading and now I think I'm okay
Sorry for the scare everyone.

Re: CascadaThon (Updates on Page 34)
Hmm, it seems that TC and I have been having trouble running into each other on AIM to set the next deadline. I'm going to set a date that TC and I briefly talked about. I think he should be ok with this date:
The next beta deadline is:
May 10, 2009
The Following people must submit final betas by this date:
Track 4 - TwilightChrono
Track 6 - sakuraslight
Track 8 - HagarenViper
Track 9 - sakuraslight
Track 10 - Kazemon
Track 11 - Vivaldi
Track 12 - Neverend
Track 13 - Neverend
Little should have to be done to correct any mistakes in your work. If you feel the need to, please submit a beta or two before the deadline.
The following people must submit a partial beta in by this date:
Intro - LittleAtari
Track 1 - IrAePyUrDrEaMz
Track 2 - Kazemon
Track 3 - LittleAtari
Track 5 - IrAePyUrDrEaMz
Track 7 - Vax
Ending - Blabbler
For this deadline, no short/experimental betas will be accepted. You must submit something that is around the length of half of your track. The only exception to the minimum length is on the credits for me and Blabbler, but we still must show betas for them.

Re: CascadaThon (Betas Due May 10th)
May 10th huh?
Just remember, that I'm moving out 21 days after that date. And Thus, won't be online much because of slow internet among other things.
I really wanted to see this project done before I moved out, which is why I set the date for completion at 6 months at the start of the MEP.
Also, chances are, with my slow to no internet connection, I probably won't even be able to see the completed MEP when it is finished. Unless I felt like letting my computer take hours upon hours to download it, which will probably not be the case.
I doubt we will be finishing it before June anyway.
I have now put my concerns out there.
