Sorry for the lack of activity lately. School kicked my ass this week. XD

Gonna finish up my track this weekend and send out a full beta fix later.

Meanwhile, let me review the latest betas:

Kazemon15: Loved the full beta. You captured Mukuro perfectly and gae that lovely creepiness that all the others tracks have too. I think it's ready for finalization and shipping off to me.

AllyKat: LOVED what I've seen thus far. This anime is also really intriguing me. I may have to watch it once this is all over and done with. I really loved how you really had them flipping out and messing with their heads. Can't wait to see more!

EDIT:

Also, anybody got any good ideas for title, or does the "Halloween MEP" do it?

There are so many MEPs with that name already xD. Though, "Dum dum di da dum dum di dum dum" isnt really halloween sounding either :P.

My suggestions:
- City of Horror
- Disturbed Souls and Nightmares

My suggestions are crap ;P.

I was thinking... "Thief of the Night : The Halloween MEP", since it kind of ties in with kireblue's opening/ending bits.

Yeah, mine's not any better. XD

how about "Progressive Nightmare: The Halloween 2011 MEP" or "Lucid Nightmare" MEP?
If you don't know what these types of dreams are, here is a summary of each http://www.dreammoods.com/dreaminformation/dreamtypes/

Finally got my new beta up on the spreadsheet. I used AE to darken it a bit, and added more zombies.

Thoughts?

EDIT:

Also, I'm calling for Kazemon15, FadingSundown, and AimoAio to turn in finals. Any objections?

Sorry for a bit of inactivity from my side if it is about beta-testing xD. Anyway, here is my opinion ^^:

Code: The darkness is perfect! I like it alot ^^! But it looks a little bit... It could look better and I know that you can. Not that I think it is bad or anything! It is just that HOTD is much used so it doesnt really leave a big impression on me. At 0:07 you could do a zoom-in transition, you do hit the beats very nicely but you continously have the same clean cut transition. Dont forget that you have a singer singing awesome text and that you also have the undertone music (I dont know how to call the background music, its a bit high in the middle of your part) while you only focus on the loud beats. At 0:09, the scene that he rides away could be a bit faster, so that it matches the music. When the singer sings 'am I scaring you tonight' I think a creepy zombie fits better ;3. I like the ending alot. This is all just my opinion xD.

Ally: Awesome o_0!! Perfect horror feeling! I only got one little thing to say, and that is if you can add some contrast. What is supposed to be black looks greyish, but so far I really like your part ^^!

Kazemon: In the beginning, I think the clip is a little bit too red, black and white might be better but I'm not sure xD. At 0:08 and 0:49 the movement looks unnatural, I dont know the anime so I dont know if it was like that or if you did it. I'm not really a fan of 2 layers through eachother (for example at 0:31) but that is just me :]. I like your part, your character is creepy, and although the footage isnt focused on creepiness you make it creepy. I do think it could use a bit more contrast though.

Aimo, what I mean with brightness/contrast is this: (I couldnt think of another way to show you what I mean, so I added a little brightness/contrast on your part, I hope you wont mind ><!)

I think I see what you mean, and I think I agree with you. I'll try a little more scene variety and try some different transitions other than hard cuts. I'll play around with some blurring and zooms and try to get it more interesting. Thanks for the advice! :)

I'll probably have another version out sometime later in the week/weekend, just depending on how my workload looks.

Code: Yeah I agree with FadingSundown, the darkness is perfect now, very creepy. I find the cuts OK actually but from 0:09-0:15, the pacing feels a little slow. Same with 0:17-0:23 although some fast scene cuts might help with that. ;) Oh and this too:

But it's turning out quite solid so far. I like it. And those zombie scenes you had nearer the end really creeped me out. D; LOL.

AH! Ok now I understand what you're talking about, I'll go back and make some changes then send out another beta.

Edit: As for names.....I rather you didn't ask me. I'm so uncreative that most the time I just name my videos after the song. :uhoh: I'm sorry, please don't shoot me. XD

Ok, I've got another beta of mine in the spreadsheet. Added some action and moved around some latter scenes.
