I think I've done all I'm doing for this round. I had some more ideas, but I think I'll save them for later just in case. They really aren't good for 20 seconds or less, so I'll give the inbox a rest.

I'll check out the new round when it's posted. I just got home from work and it's after midnight, so I'll be dead to the world for the next 24 hours. Maybe when I re-emerge the next round will be ready to go.

Oh well, good luck with all the last minute entries.

Round 1 closes at midnight tonight...

so get those last-minute entries in! The winner will be announced tomorrow night. Round 2 will be announced next Sunday and begin at midnight.

I'm gonna have a Wiki set up for this thing as well, so be on the lookout...

So, the way this round works is that one of our submitted clips will play after our production tag, right? Then, the winner (a.k.a. the one with the best entry) will provide the music for Round 2?

Hilarious stuff...

Honorable mention: Desbo21 for that awesome Shippo clip. As for your "I'm Gay" piece,...you just outdid yourself there, but I think I might find a place for it anyway in the comp.

Here's what's gonna happen.

Both of you send me one or two ideas for round 2. This is a creative prompt, so anything goes, pretty much. Just don't make your suggestions too vague or obtuse and you don't have to be limited to songs (as Desbo and Kazi proved). I'll use Desbo's idea first so we can get on with round 2. You will be able to participate in this round as well, since Maru-sha will be helping me judge it..

Maru-sha's idea will be used for round 3 while the winner of round 2 judges that one.

There will be an honorable mention entry for each round in case the winner is unable to judge or is otherwise unavailable.

Simple, eh?

Um, so when was the staff of the convention going to know about this and approve it? I'm the amv contest corridnator and I haven't heard of this. I kinda would like to know.

I have no problems on a general level but this needs to be worked out before it continues further.
